I need to update the Lens photo since I got a New Hybrid in Grey instead of Clear. Actually I need a photo shoot of a lot of things.

Nope, need both. Just missed a fingerprint on eBay. Sadly they're the expensive pairs

@James : your Gen 1 collection is really nice! Indeed. I got a Fingerprint one recently and "only" seem to miss a carbon print and blackrain!

By the way, I am coming back with that again.

I really wonder what is that lens shape Mark Allen was wearing in the Hawai Ironman 1993. It seems to be a non-commercialized M Frame lens shape that is a mix between a sweep/heater and Strike maybe!

Would love to find infos on that!

Very nice. An OR member got that Red Iridium Strip lens and V Lens Mumbo combo via eBay. Great BIN price too, as I recall.

This picture seems to prove that yes. But, still, no sticker apparently on the strip box. And a M Frame era nosepiece.

And thanks for your comments Alexandre. The collection is far from perfect (no boxes, some scratches on lenses) but I'm happy with it. Still looking for the illusive carbon and fingerprint pairs!

I don't think so. As sort of thought at the beginning of this thread, the Mumbo boxes and name stayed in Europe for a few more years. Strip was 1991, and Mumbo changed name in late 1989.

Thanks Dann for the precise detail. I didn't remember about the USA/Europe difference for the boxes.

Just thinking about it now. Have we ever seen a Mumbo lens box?

I've never seen those spare lenses
I only spoken to him on weekend, whilst he has some items left I think they are all blades now

Buy the way the white mumbo V and spare +red strip are mine :)
I bought those along with a grey strip (which I'd swop for a blue)
