USPS express mail international and you're set....get the insurance on them and match the insured value with the declared value. Rock solid as long as Paypal shipping address is confirmed (and you ship there) and item is Seller Protection Eligible.

Just Document the hell out of it and make sure you can prove you sent it. That way if they try to make a claim they have no chance.

If you have doubt then just wait till you get a buyer you trust. Personally I'll never send another package to Indonesia.

Id wondered about USPS express, thought I;d read before on here someone said Paypal doesn't acknowledge it or something because can't really trace it once it leave USA. What about fed ex, I tried to figure cost online but must have thought it was overnight because for a pair of Juliet it came to $170.

UPS and FedEx charge huge dollars to ship to this region. USPS will be the cheapest but to cover yourself insurance and tracking is a must. If you don't have tracking then paypal/ebay will immediately find in there favour if a claim is made. The onus will fall squarely on you to prove you have shipped it, and it seems nothing less than tracking will suffice.

I have had to go through all this with an Indonseain buyer and i lost $150 of goods.

I all honesty charge what you have to to cover yourself, or just walk away from it.

USPS Express, UPS or Fedex are the only paypal acceptable shipping options to Indonesia. The above 3 meet the "door to door" tracking requirement put in place by paypal.

First class mail or priority international will lose EVERY INR (item not received) claim WITHOUT question.

Just ship it USPS Express Mail, hand it to a Postal Employee, have them scan it and give you a drop off receipt for it and you've met every requirement to win an INR claim.

All pretty good points. The one thing that always tripped me up in the whole effort to protect the seller/shipper was the component of a 'verified' buyer and address. I could be somewhat off, but I am not sure how easily, if at all, an international buyer (especially in those areas) are able to obtain verified status by paypal in order to be eligible for seller protection. I recall trying last year a few times selling some froggies, and while the buyers were perfectly fine, the paypal was never officially designated as verified.

I've sent to Indonesia without problems. I might be lucky! But as others said, insure it and make sure it has tracking.

I take a photo of the item boxed with the postal slip attached for extra assurance.

Send thru tracking is the best option to proof if any claim.
