just got a pair of gen 1 minutes (cobalt/+red iridium) and these dont have the icons just the portal on the ear stem.

does anyone know if this was the case for the gen 1 eye jackets or were the gen 1 eye jackets the first edition that had the metal icon?

getting these minutes has reminded me how cool this colour combo is and even though im not a great fan of the eye jackets due to their size, i think a pair in the same combo would make an awesome set, but want to be sure there are not any out there with the portal instead of the icon.

Eye Jackets:
Gen 1: Had no clear coat and weak stems. Flat Icon
Gen 2: Had a clear coat and thicker stems. The word 'Jacket' was raised on the inside of the ear stem.
Modern: Had the metal icon and a rounded hinge. Boxes are labeled New Eye Jacket.
Version: 2.0 and 3.0 came out after and were not related.

The Eye Jacket never came with those 'intake portal' type of icon replacements. Just the Minute and Moon, from what I can recall. The Eye Jacket essentially started with the raised, painted/stamped icons. Then they went to the metal icons later in life.
