I stumbled across an Evans Radar, it's a splatter as we know them with green earsocks and Jade iridium. The guy is asking €450,- which is pretty much. So I was wondering what the owners of athletes glasses have paid for theirs :)

absolutely not worth it for my2c. you can spray-paint it yourself for much much less.

when you compare it to a regular frame.Is it really worth 4x the price?

That's high....but, it's all in the eye of the beholder!

Hmm, that are pretty some indeed. I was already thinking that €450,- was a lot (a big lot...), but I didn't expect that there were actually pretty some of those splatters.

€450 is crazy steep. There's a bunch of versions bouncing around nowadays, but at lot seem to get theirs in the $400-ish range, some even in the $300-ish range.

Just stumbled across the 4th one on that picture (the green one). Guy is asking €180,- That doesn't seem really steep to me...

I have that frame, and I paid a bit more than that for it, so go for it mate.

To tell you the truth, I think the splatters Josh did for me blow those splatters away. But once again it's in the eyes of the beholders.

Just a word of caution, the paint can be a little fragile, I managed to scrape some off on the nose piece when putting a lens in. Luckily it just looks like a painted black splatter

@Don, yeah that's true indeed. Your splatters looks the most awesome, way more awesome than the Evans splatters, that's something to think about... That might be way cooler, hmmm.

@James, thanks for that. I asked the guy about the condition of the glasses. He told me they show some slight signs of wear. I was thinking that would be the lenses, but if it's the frame... And still €180,- for Radars that show wear is pretty some money.
