Frame: Stainless Steel
I've wanted one of these for so long and when I saw one at the Vault for $150, I jumped on it. My wife even helped chip in. There's little else besides a minute and hour hand, but being used to the Time Bomb, I didn't expect as much. The design is simply awesome and a remnant of the unobtainium strap days. I don't have the reported problem of being poked by the end, so it fits nice and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Everyone says: Wow! when they see my Torpedo.
What can you say, only on the arm of an Oakley fan...
Frame: Stainless/Stainless
Wow, I had never even heard of this until I was trolling eBay for anything and everything Oakley. You can find some cool stuff that way. Anyway, holy crap awesome! It's so unique that the only way I'd be able to find the proper words to describe how stoked I am for it, would be to sit down with a thesaurus for a good long time. I plan on wearing it frequently, and I have a hunch I'm going to get a lot of comments about it. It's definitely worth picking up, if you find one.
One of the best features is the way the band is made. There are ridges under the face/frame, and holes cut into the underside of the band. These prevent the watch from slipping around your wrist. This is one of those things that's neither a deal maker or breaker, but I wish this feature was on every watch that I own...
Frame: Stainless Steel
Face: Blue
Great looking, crazy styling, but be careful it can hurt your wrist/hand. I almost drove it into my carpals/metacarpals. Nonetheless, looks very cool, lives up to the Torpedo name.
Yellow Face
Truly radical design that looks super cool with casual wear. Swiss Made (assembled in Switzerland), unlike the Crush, which only has Japan Movement. The ends don't poke my wrists much. Design-wise gets a 5 from me, but because there's no second-hand, the "usual" 2-sec jump low-battery indicator is not available. So, might make you miss an appointment should the battery die at the "wrong" appointed time.
