I bought these glasses used, but in excellent condition. They are sport glasses designed for activity and so the arms wrap snugly around one's head, even a small one like mine. However this can be uncomfortable if worn for extended periods of time. Even with the aerodynamically raked back lenses, the glasses are still designed for someone with a wide face (IF YOU'RE ASIAN, THESE ARE THE GLASSES FOR YOU.) They do allow for a noticeable window of light to get in through the sides. But they are just so cool, I could not give them any less than 3 of 5.

Awesome. This is possibly the best model I've gotten since after they've become discontinued. Got them last friday! I can't take them off. The Topcoat lives up to its name. Light, fast looking, this was meant for windy days such as these. I like how the swoopy earstalks make them look very agressive with the high turned orbitals. I see what everyone is saying about having to be careful with them because the arms and the frame are slim. Sweet!

The Topcoat is a cool looking frame, but just does not make up for the weird look on the face. It is comfortable, but not nearly as it should be to be a product from oakley. The cost doesn't really break the bank.

Love the hornet's look these give - very aggressive and unique without resorting to the gaudy frame adornments of the newer models. Since these were made with the old formula O-matter, the earstems tend to break, and mine broke recently. I drilled into each side of the break about 3/16" and epoxied a stiff fence wire in there before joining the two pieces, in the same way one puts rebar in concrete. The fix has held up great and you can't even tell it broke.

My regular cycling glasses for quite some time. Light and comfortable, nice contours to the arms. Excellent shape for the slightly down-tilted angle of my head while on a road bike. Excellent peripheral space in the lens. For me, a little light did sneak through the lower quarter area (about 8 o'clock on the left, 4 o'clock on the right) but I got over it after 3 minutes. I have a FMJ Copper pair I've never worn but over the years I put more miles on my White Chrome Topcoats than any other O-Matter sunglasses. Sadly, leaving them in a blistering hot storage space for a summer left them with a cracked orbital and these beautiful shades are in retirement; I guess they're a a keepsake of the summers I used them. Five stars for the original sculpture and they were great glasses.
