Love These E wire 2.0 05-651.... Solid frame.. GREAT! Gold Iridium for the not so brite day's...
The earsocks and nose bombs are fantastic NO SLIP I mean these are going nowhere... over all I like these much more than the original E wire version.

Bronze/Gold, Light/TiClear CC(custom cut), Dark/Black, Bronze/VR50 Brown gradient CC, Matte Black Cerakote/Chrome polarized CC, Light/Jade CC.

By far, my favourite Wire.
Slightly more substantial feel to these, at 31 grams (E Wire 1.0 = 24g.), they are still very comfortable to wear. I find no problem with the non-spring hinge ear stems; they still grip nicely, and are not too tight.
The orbitals are more ovoid than the E 1.0, which I find slightly elongated laterally by comparison.
A very classy example of Oakley design, they are becoming hard to find.
I feel very fortunate to have them.

Very nice ,legendary style of Oakley shades. The styling is vintage, pimp and so cool looking! This could well be the coolest Oakley yet! Big Improvement over the original E wire as it was too large I thought. Whereas this 2.0 is perfect size! The Gold Iridium lenses and Bronze frames really compliment this model! This is a unisex style so thats a great thing too! Gotta be careful that you don't get Ladies glasses if your a Man or Mans glasses if your a Lady! I'll be hanging onto these as long as I can as they are rare and no longer made!

Frame: Dark
Lens: Grey

These are great and legendary Vintage Oakley sunglasses! Wanna look pimp? then these are it! The lens is oval and almost roundish and that adds very cool looking styling! Reminds me of the Eye Jacket 1.0 and the Romeo 1.0. They are comfortable enough to wear all day. I agree that they are a definate improvment over the original 1.0 E Wire. The 1.0 was too large for my liking, whereas these 2.0's are perfect. I love these all the way and they give a cool and pimp look! And yes they are wires! so they will hopefully last for ever with Tender Loving Care (TLC)!

It's just plain and classy. I like wearing them when dressed semi-casual or formal. It's a little tight around the skull but I'm hoping it will loosen up as I wear it.

Frame: Dark
Lens: Black Iridium

I had these because I liked the design of the nosebridge a lot better than the simple one employed on the 2.1s. The lenses are an oval shape, which offers average coverage. The glasses also do not have spring hinges, which would have improved it's comfortability. It's not bad by any means, but spring-hinge models are better.

If you like the design, feel free to pick them up; squarish designs are apparently in, and this one definitely deviates from that trend.

Frame: Light
Lens: Gold Iridium

A definite improvement over the original e Wire. Although a bit heavier, the frame feels more solid and has a closer, tighter fit. I replaced the Black Iridium lenses with Gold Iridium because I prefer the increased contrast. They also create a unique look, since this color combination is not offered in any Oakley wire frames. Why did I rate these a 4 and not a 5? Well, after owning other wire frames with spring hinges, these are slightly less comfortable. Not bad by any means, but not as good as the spring hinged models.
