I got the black iridium polarized ones. Yes, not the most eye-catching model from the brand, but they do their part. The more rectangular lenses compliment my round face, as compared to the earlier model, and they fit me pretty good. No complaints.
Frame: Lead; Lens: Emerald Iridium Polarized.
I got these mostly because they had Emerald Polarized lenses (I'm an Emerald fan - I have 7 pairs with the green lenses, 5 polarised and 2 not, plus an emerald slate) but actually I really like them. I've also got the Crosshair 1.0 and the Crosshair S and these are very different - slightly heavier, but a comfortable wraparound fit and what surprised me is the sheer width of those wide, wide wraparound lenses. They look much bigger on me than the Crosshair 1.0s. I don't agree that they're boring, they're quite understated but the overall shape of them is pretty stylised and there is that very wraparound look to them which you don't get with the other Crosshairs. One point deducted because on me, at least, they have to sit just right on my nose or my right eyelashes brush the inside of the lens which drives me mad. However once they are sitting in the right place they're very comfortable and stay put. Very happy with them and may have to invest in another pair or two - maybe an OO blue pol next time.

A little heavier than the standard crosshair with a little smaller coverage area. Had to get these just for the amazing OO blue lenses. They almost glow

I bought a pair of these after my Flak Jackets were stolen. My face looks better with lenses that are more rectangular, so these were a great choice when compared to the original Crosshairs. I also found the nose pads to be a lot more comfortable than my Flak Jackets because they didn't compress into themselves after extended wear.
Obviously there aren't really any striking or unique aspects to the frames other than the ubiquitous Oakley "O", but I don't understand why other buyers were surprised at this. It's obvious from the pictures that these aren't those type of "everyone look at me!" shades. I like them precisely because they're simply designed (but with the Oakley quality one expects) yet sophisticated. They pair perfectly with both everyday wear and formal wear.

this cross hair 2.0 frame fits so good behind the ears fits nicely on my oval face. the socks grips well when it is wet since i have a very short hair (crewcut)it is very secured i use this shades for my daily driving and motorcycling activities .very good lenses nicely moulded in the temples through the brows and cheekbones. mostly covered up so i don't have problems of wind getting strained my eyes. lenses give me a full protection from the sun, it is very hot during summertime here in manila, philippines. the grey polarized lenses does all the protection i need, not a strain in my eyes. nice shade and killer looks!!

Those are perfect! Dressed formal? Don't worry. They will match accordingly.

These glasses are perfect for people that dont have small or angular faces which were and are able to buy and use the first Crosshair.
This version if sleeker and gives off a more elongated rectangular look which is great for people with either big faces in general or with round shaped heads. It carves out lines which aviators and the previous bubble like crosshairs cannot do because theyre meant to add volume to the wearer's face.
These are great because you can choose to equip them for classy events/looks or the casual and sports outing. I went for something in between and its a perfect color combination of both.
The gold frame is just ridiculously good looking and the brown ear tips blend in with my hair as well which makes the glasses seem molded to my head and not stick out like a sore thumb (unlike other oakley over the top styles).
The ice blue iridium gives off a very small hint of purple hue on the edges at times which looks killer with the gold frame (color theory 101 blue-orange/purple-yellow combos works best - this is a perfect in between compromise).
The best part about the gold frame as well is you can sport a bronze or a black lens and it still looks killer. Something you wouldnt be able to pull with a chrome or black frame, not quite anyways. Downside is with a green lens, the gold frame will look off unless you're a leprechaun and have a pot o'gold laying around on St. Patrick's Day.
Either way, the construction is solid, its a perfect shape for people that dont have narrow heads and it can look both classy and sporty depending on your customization preference and color combinations. Also the tips dont scratch the sides of my head unlike the X-Metal Squared does (ever so slightly)

Customized frame-lens combo. The polarized bronze, while cool, did not contrast the frames as well as the dark bronze for a 'gold-ish on gold' look I wanted. These are not 'Aviators' like the original Crosshair (which I also have and love) so the similarities end at the name and the bridge/nose pieces. Very comfortable and the polished gold attracts compliments. They are a style in which you need the right shape of head for them to fit and look right. Very contemporary and stylish.

This is my first 5 star review. I love these things. The build quality, fit and finish are what you'd expect from Oakley. They're light but still feel solid and substantial. The fit is snug and secure but without pinching and comfortable enough to wear all day. Polarized Black Iridium are my lenses of choice so yeah, they're pretty much perfect.
A word about style - Wookieman's point is well taken. These don't scream "OAKLEY" the way some other frames do like the gascan. These don't scream aviators as much as the original crosshair or the wardens do either. But I'm not sure that's the point. Oakley's just adding a different style to their line. If you want something distinctive or more like a classic aviator, those are available too.
I wear suits most of the time and wanted something a little cleaner, a little more formal that still had Oakley build quality and lenses. The 2.0 fits that bill perfectly. I love 'em. When I'm outside playing sports or hiking, I have other oakleys for that but these fill the roll I want them to perfectly.

I think calling these a disappointment is very precise. I will admit that Oakley did a good job at enhancing the strength of the ear stems on this model. Other than that I feel everything about this model was done wrong. I mean the signature aviator look was almost completely taken out of the model and the original Crosshair came in a ton of lens/frame combinations. Where these some in simply 5. Overall I'll stick to the originals.

I have to give this 2 BIG thumbs up. It's been a while since I walked into a store and tried on a pair of O's that I HAD to have that instant. The polished chrome/VR28 Crosshair 2.0 has done that to me.
While keeping with the original styling and then cleaning it up to make it more of a "classy" look, Oakley did a great job on their rendition of an aviator frame. As a die-hard Crosshair fan (5 pairs), I was skeptical at first about these but after trying them on I'm in love. I think this is a more of a unique aviator than the Warden.
I'm a huge fan, I just hope they come out with some unique colorways or more iridium lenses.

A fine addition to the Crosshair family, more sleek and sophisticated compared to the original. The shape of the lenses is much more square and less angular than traditional aviator styles, so while it looks less like a true aviator, it seems to be friendlier to a wider range of face shapes and sizes. The nosebridge appears to be carried over exactly from the original, which does a good job of tying this model in with its predecessors. In contrast, the earstems are completely new, with a straight shape rather than a hammer, and unique Unobtainium that is flared at the end instead of the more traditional but generic tapered shape. The icon is still "hollow", but instead of being a separate piece, it is now sculpted right into the earstem, much like the Spoke RX frame. This is actually what drew me to Crosshair 2.0 since I already wear the Spoke. It provides a really clean, blended look that I wish Oakley would use more often in their wire frames.
As usual, the Polished Chrome frame has a bright, brilliant, almost jewel-like finish to it. The VR28 Black lenses seem to have a more noticeable, more reflective Iridium coating than we have seen lately. It may just be a batch-to-batch variation, but I like the effect. From the outside, it almost looks like Titanium Iridium under certain conditions.

A big dissapointment indeed. I must agree on Wookieman's review. We waited many weeks in the shop for this model to come, and we all were quite disapointed of the overall look of the glasses. Of course I must say taste is individual, so some people might find this as a nice pair.
Seen in contrast to the "old" Crosshair, I personal think the 2.0 is too "feminine".
Wookieman -
In short, what a dissapointment. While the build quality is there allowing 2 stars, the styling is a major letdown. It appears Oakly has taken a great frame (the original Crosshair) then whitewashed it and sanitized it so that it fades into the background. When I first saw the 2.0 sitting in the store I thought someone had put a Ray-Ban in with the Oakleys. There is nothing in this frame, not a bend in the metal, not a contour in the lense that says "Oakley." Even conservative styles such as the whisker and square wire have something in the styling that sets them apart from the herd. If you want something really conservative this may be for you, otherwise stick with the original if you want something that is distinctly Oakley.
