I have the 10th Mountain Holeshot. This is the watch I've been drooling over ever since it was introduced. I am very happy with this watch. I love the color scheme, and it is by far the most wearable Oakley watch that I've seen. Awesome!
Stainless Steel/ Black Holeshot 6-Hand
This watch is amazing. The construction is solid, and is a perfect everyday watch, with that touch of oakley flair. Its a good size and weight, comfortable but substantial.
The sapphire face is great! saved me from scratches many times.. and the luminous hands are incredibly bright at night.
but the bad? well not bad, but things that could be improved. I find i scratch the watch easily, but that could be my clumsy self. also, if you dont have the watch on your wrist, you cant place it down flat as the band will scratch the back of the watch - got to have a padding inside it, or place it on its side. This is why i just bought a Large watch soft vault for my Holeshot.
all round, a solid watch, highly recommended!
Stealth black/stealth black
I've had the for about a week and I'm very happy with it. I needed something that I can wear everyday and this fit the bill. I can finally give my MM a break. My only complaint is that it feels small, but I guess I'm comparing it to the MM.
I just got this watch recently. The Stainless 6-Hand Black Holeshot to be exact. I really think that the bracelet version looks so much better than the unobtainium band, and is a real eye-catcher. I went to get it adjusted and the jeweler was even impressed and she didn't even realize Oakley made watches. It is not too heavy, and I think it will make for a nice daily watch. The design is very unique and it still screams "Oakley. The luminous hands are also a very big plus.

I was a proud owner of the Detonator for almost 8 years when it eventually failed. I sent it to Oakley a few time for repair, several times returned to me to no avail. Give Oakley credit though, they called my & explained that the part needed for my Detonator's no longer made. They asked me to choose a colour of a Holeshot; of which I did & within 3 days I received it. I love it, early days I know but feels good, looks good & very happy with Oakley's customer service. So "THANK YOU" Oakley
None can doubt the veracity of this airltce.
I have bought my Holeshot for almost 4 years now, I have the stealth black.
It's a light watch, I disagree from some who say that it has a "difficult" viewing area, I also have 2 other watches: a saddleback and a GMT, both are heavier watches.
The only almost negative point it's it unobitanium strap - who makes you sweat a lot in hot days.
Big Bummer! -
I guess it's hard to compare a Holeshot with a Minute Machine. I have owned the machine for a long time. I liked the looks of the color scheme on the 10th mountain division Holeshot. I tried it on in the store and wasn't in love with it. Felt too light. Band was too thin and the style was almost identical to the detonator that I had years ago. The salesperson said give it a shot and you can return it within 30 days no questions asked. So I took it. I wore it around for a couple weeks but couldn't get over the size/weight difference from the machine. It just felt cheap being so light and the band tapered so much at the end it looked like a womens watch. Returned the watch and continued to search for a watch I could wear once in awhile that was comparable to my other one. Found it in the crankcase, but that is another review.
Honed/Cuba Blue/White Unobtanium Strap
Like my other Oakley watches I get many compliments. The 'Cuba Blue' colors look better for real than the online pictures. The white strap stands out versus any other type of watch since there are very few watches that have a white band. The strap will get dirty (duh, it's white) but it cleans very easily, even with just water. The crystal display has held up to a couple good smacks without scratching. I've had one of the sales people at the O'Hare Terminal O-store drop what he was doing and come over to get a closer look, since most Sales Associates never see the special edtions, just the custom versions. I'm impressed by it.

This watch was not even close to being worth the money paid. I took this "water resistant" watch in the water (not even close to its "maximum depth") and the it got water in the face. A watch of this kind should not have this issue, especially on it's first use. It has been months since sending it in to get fixed and I still don't have it back.
Stealth Black/Black (present) + Honed/Black (previous)
The band itself is super comfy, much more so than the Crush. I used to think the Honed/Black looked awesome, until I got my hands on the Stealth version, so sold my Honed/Black. Great for gym time or less formal days as an alternative to my Time Tanks, but gotta be extra careful so I don't accidentally bump the un-repairable stealth finish. Personally, I never play with the mini-dials, so it simply keeps time for me. Otherwise, the watch face can be hard to read, but that's really not my problem, and therefore I love this.
I have the 10th Mtn Div version for color. First thing I noticed was the design flaws. 1)The crown sits so far out from the body of the watch it can rub the back of your hand. The designer was going for too much "Bling" rather then useful. Don't know if it will work with gloves at all. 2) No illum. on the watch except for the minute and hour hands. Hope you don't need anything but a rough time estimate after dark! No good for military / police / contractor use. (You know - dark building etc!) 3) Small second hand at 6 position is ... well ... Small! You can really only know the seconds when it passes through a one of the 4 cardinal points, which of course makes the 1/10 sec. dial useless for timing anything. "Ya, your run time was around 18 min and 36.5 seconds. Give or take a second either side because I can't tell on my watch." Now that I mention that, all the inner faces are Small. They is more room in there for bigger inner dials which would have been easier to see. Hell, even the date window is small. Maybe I just need glasses! :)
As this is an initial review I can't comment on quality. I suspect that is fine. I think most people agree they make pretty good stuff.
I dont think any one needs to buy this watch thinking they are going to USE it for anything other then rough timing things. In a lighted area of course.
I am thinking two star for design, probably 4 for quality, so I give it 3. No I am not sending it back. Got it off the Military site for a lot less then the list price.
Right back to the computer to find a functional watch for the Military, workouts, hunting, flying etc...

Honed/Red Dial Six Hand
I've had this watch for about 2 months and it's the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. This is my everyday watch. I have a Crankcase and GMT for dressier ocasions, but this is a true Oakley design that is just awsome looking. I catch myself admiring it through out the day from time to time. I would recommend this watch for everyday wearing whether you are in the office or just doing any everyday activity. If you been thinking about getting one, do it you won't regret it. Just another great Oakley product
Stealth Sixhand.
I'm disappointed in that i think the face could be easier to read.
I like the band (unobtainium) at most 3 and a half stars
Good think I traded for it no way in Hades its worth $650

Update: I've worn this watch every day at work for 3 weeks. Several points. The Fins on the unobtanium band actually keep the strap keeper from coming of the end of the strap, a nice touch. I also finally realized the vent holes are square O cutouts. The hour and minute hands are very luminous at night. Upgraded rating four stars.

My wife bought this watch for me as a compliment to the Time Tank. While subtler, it still has that 'in your face' design that denotes it is an Oakley. Extremely comfortable, it lends itself to almost any activity, from a day in the office to a day on the ski hill.
Another great design from the folks at Oakley
Stealth hole shot, very nice watch the stealth finish is diffrent on this watch than all other oakley watches in that it is a matte finish rather than a polished finish this gives the watch a very nice tactical/military look to it. the finish and color is very close to the carbon juliet finish. I would reccomend this watch to any military or LEO's just based on the tactical look of the watch. I was told that it is a limited edition with only one per O store, hope that changes as i see this as the nicest stealth finish on any Oakley watch
I've been wearing the Holeshot for about 2 weeks now, and must say it is the best watch I have ever owned. This is my first watch from Oakley, and (as usual) I'm quite impressed. At first look, I found the design a little subdued compared to Oakley's previous watch releases--almost too "normal" looking! In true fashion of the brand, the more you see it the more detail gets noticed. The watch is a phenomenal blend of functionality, all the while still managing to differentiate itself from its contemporaries. The combination of honed and polished steel on the case adds to the subtle detail. The vanilla-scented unobtainium band is a must for anyone using the watch in a daily capacity (business and pleasure, athletic and casual). To be an entirely "Swiss Made" piece tops off the whole package, making its quality evident to any watch fan.
happy with this watch but very easily to get scratch from the side of the watch, this is my second watch from oakley, quality wise i got no complaint, coz oakley always can be trust on, may be the design have to be more different like what i had before Detonator Honed-Black, if compare to the watches size i like holeshot more then Detonator.... oakley fans iDamo
