Frame: pewter
Lens: warm grey
the square wire 3.0 is a great piece to wear , BUT on the right side of the unobtanium rubber, the phrase "MADE IN USA" is rather thick, and after a while of wearing it, you begin to feel the txt on your head ( at least i do )
further than that, i like them better than the sq.wire 2.0
because of the bigger lens.
the warm grey lens is very easy on the eyes, making it an allround lenstint to wear. the pewter frame is of a classic beauty, very distinguished . i like the overall colour of the 3.0

Frame: Olive
Lens: Dark Bronze

My wife chose this colour for me (I think she made the right choice! Other frame colours look dull compared to Olive). This is timeless classic! I wanted an aviator type sunglasses, but this is the only frame that would fit my Razrwire Bluetooth Module. Close enough.

Apparently my typical flat Asian face combined with longer-than-average eyelashes cannot wear this frame properly. Despite having the nose stems adjusted by optician twice, the glasses are still too close to my eyes, letting my eyelashes brushing the lenses.

Apart from the eyelashes problem, this frame is very comfortable. The spring hinge helps keeping it in place. I use the Razrwire's bluetooth module with this frame while driving. The coverage is great, and does not have blank spot (brought by thick arms) like Gascan or O Rokr.

The Dark Bronze lens, being contrast lens, is good for driving. However, it is a bit too dark for most situation in the car bar the full sunlight. I could not find good time to wear this glasses during the Australian winter. Only in the beginning of spring I can use this glasses more often while driving. I guess VR28 or Bronze would be a better choice for driving lens.

Frame: Brushed Chrome
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium Polarized
I bought these back in February. My first experience with Oakley polarized, and all I can say is that 'liquid fusion process' technology lives up to the hype. When driving, your vision pierces through windshields of oncoming traffic, and lets you check out the women driving. The frame is ultra high quality, and you can really feel it on your face. However, they really do provide for all day comfort. The finish is a very nice, and the brushed finish downplays the bling of chrome. Still deciding whether to take up one of the good deals for razrwire on ebay, then I'll have both pairs compatible with the bluetooth module.

VR28 Black Iridium Polarized is perfect for partially cloudy days. These are also perfect for driving, as the vr28 somewhat enhances contrast. Although recommended for 100% clear and bright days, use something else with a gray or blue basecoat, otherwise you will probably be squinting with these if you are outside all day.

Frame: Light
Lens: Black Iridium

This colour combination definitely In my opinion looks the best! The titanium grey silver frames really matches a perfect contrast in union with the black iridium lenses. I'd recommend these over all the other combinations as looking the most expensive and classiest! What I like most is these look great on old to middle aged people as well as the young! The design is perfect for most face shapes. The good old not too big/ not too small. We ideally want our sunglasses the perfect size and with these you get that! A bold classy fashion statement and strong quality sunglass. The new Square wire is by far the best yet from Oakley (especially in this colour combination)! I don't think I will never need another pair of sunglasses again by the quality and style of these!

Frame: Olive Chrome
Lens: Dark Bronze

The design is very classic and standard, nothing special. Even though the Chrome looks really nice ( doenst look like there is any kind of olive in it) and the dark bronze lenses are okay, the combination doesnt look very well in combination. Since this is nearly my 20th pair of Oakleys ( first pair of square wire) i am kinda disappointed for some reasons. When i squeeze the frame with my fingers, the lenses make kinda "clack" noise. The frame itself doenst seem very solid. The first thing i`ve done was buying some other lenses, so that these glasses at least looking good in my showcase ( custom lenses in that case).

Frame: Brushed Chrome
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium Polarized

My oh my...I've been searching for a pair of these for a long time. I love the Nanowire 4.0, but the lenses were a little big on my head. The 2.0's were perfect, but I felt they were a little fragile. I looked around and found the Splinters, these, and the Square Whisker. I am really glad I went with these. The splinters were out of my price range (the non MPH ones), and the Square Whiskers were a little tight. These fit perfectly, and the spring hinges made them even better! Hands down one of the best fitting wireframe's.
My only small problem with them, is that they seem a bit heavy. This may be unfair to say though, because I mainly have O-Matter frames and of course, the Nanowire's. These took awhile to get used to, but after some time you couldn't even tell they were on. The coverage is great and the grip is amazing. Highly recommended!

Frame: Matte Black (Ducati)
Lens: Black Iridium

Got these at a great price and at the time they look good on me but once I started to grow my hair out it didn't look the same. I wore the less and less and then gave them away to an uncle. Great classic style too I bought my dad a pair and he loves them

Frame: Pewter
Lens: Warm Grey

These are a classic! These are finally a Square Wire that fits my face well! I think Oakley realized the predecessor the 2.0 was a bit small for most melons so they made this new one bigger! What I like about this model is it is a perect size! Not too small to look silly and not too big to hide a nice face! My face suits rectangular frames best! Anyone done that online thing about how to pick sunglasses to suit your face shape? I recommend it as so many people are walking around in styles that don't suit them!

Anyways the fit is very comfortable for me I can wear them all day and not feel it. The warm grey is a suprisingly great lens not too blue based like the original grey was These warm grey makes everything outdoors look neutral and how it supposed to be. Also It performs here in my state of Western Australia very nicely. Anyone familiar with the Western Australian Summer knows that it gets very bright! I am a fan of wire frames and x-metals. These frames always look more mature looking than immature plastic sunglasses! Plastic are not noble enough as they are made of plastic! Plus with the wires and x-metals you can keep the frames into your old age and they always suit well! I see John Travolta wears these in the film "The Taking Of Pelham 123" They look great on John!

Frame: Titanium Pewter
Lens: Black Iridium Polarised

Despite these not being my favourite (X-Metal XX's TiO2's) or comfortable (Crosshair Titanium) pair of Oakleys I own I probably were them the most, since they are the happiest medium of fit, look (or 'smartness' - use them for work mostly) and glare reduction (it's bright here in Western Australia and NOTHING copes with that better than Black Iridium Polarised).

The design suits my face well and the coverage of the lens is good. They do begin to rub the bridge of my nose after awhile, despite my efforts to alter the fit, maybe it's the way the spring higes seem to draw your face into the glasses?

Frame: Titanium Polished Black
Lens: VR28 Polarized
***NEWS FLASH***
ALL OAKLEY POLARIZED LENSES ARE NOT EQUAL! These are by far the most underrated set of Oakley’s ever. That was the first thing I realized when I bought these. This is the first pair of VR28 tinted lenses and they are fantastic for all lighting conditions. I thought Titanium Iridium were good for all light, but these are much better. Not as dark and the contrast is superior in every respect. Very pleased with the color, how have I missed this color all these years???

As far as the Polarization, as with any Oakley pols. They are fantastic. Just like every other polarized pair I own these are perfect for cutting through glare. So what makes these so superior to all the others? Anti-reflective coating, plain and simple. With every other pair of lenses I have there is a huge amount of ghosting. You see your own face and eyes when looking through normal lenses. With these ghosting is all but completely eliminated giving very even coverage. You can see in much darker areas because of this. The 12:00 sun doesn't blast your eyes from the back of the lenses.

Last but not least the lenses are Hydrophobic, just like Radar these are easy as hell to clean. As well as water and sweat just rolls off of em. All of this is what makes these lenses far superior to the standard Oakley Polarized lenses by a very large margin. (You pay for it though!)

OK if you're not sold already on the lenses alone, the frame will definitely impress. While they are much larger than the square wire 2.0 they are much lighter. Titanium of course makes for a very light and very strong frame. No worries about bending or deforming and your lenses popping out like you see sometimes with C-5 frames (Crosshairs, I'm looking at you!). This in my opinion also one ups the Nanowire line strictly because of greater sturdiness. I don't think the Nano's will snap very easily, but you can't help but handle them like an infant. The New TI squares have all the benefits of the Nano's, without the delicate drawbacks.

Spring hinges = A+ Love how they just conform to your face without unnecessary stress.

Last but not least- Razrwire compatible frame, the Razrwire module is pretty cheap too at $60.

Any way this is the best and most practical pair of Oakley's I own. I love my Juliets, I love my Leather mars, Zero .3's, ruby clear why 3's, Radars, etc etc etc, but none are as professional looking or have the clarity of the New Square wire's. No, they are not the most exciting genre bending Sunny's I've ever seen. They didn't blow my mind when I first saw them, they simply represent the pinnacle of the best of the best that Oakley can do.

Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Black Iridium

Ducati version. I don't know why but only ducati matte black looks nice on me. Wanted to get the polarized matte black version but it didn't look too good on me. weird. Red icon and socks real cool and makes all the difference from a design that non Oakley fans won't know what brand it is (matte polarized) to a distinct Oakley.

Its super lightweight too and makes me look sharp in working clothes or a black suit. Very very sharp for formal wear. Feel kinda like Neo too, heh

Frame: Pewter
Lens: Brown transitions

The frame is a quality sturdy design.
The arms are too thick and causes rubbing against the ear, which makes my ears sore after a while. Would be better if the arms were thinner.
Visually amazing, so good that it takes some getting used to if you
are wearing oakleys for the first time.
Transition lenses arent bad, but could go clearer indoors.
I'm really happy with my first oakleys, apart from the slightly uncomfortable fit.

Frame: Brown Chrome
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium

These glasses are very nice. The color of the lens and frame compliment each other very nicely. They are beautiful to look at and the VR28 is beautiful to look through as well. They provide good coverage for a wire. The VR28 lens provides decent protection in bright sunlight, but is very well suited for moderate light conditions. I would prefer if they were not a spring hinge becuase it would add more stability to the frame but overall a great pair of wires

Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized

I have only posted a few reviews so far but this product, like the other products I reviewed, are difficult to fault. In fact I find most Oakley products to be flawless and these are no exception.

The fit is excellent for my oval shaped face. The adjustable nose pads are greatly appreciated because my nose is not perfectly symmetrical so each pad must me positioned individually to get a level fit. The lenses offer unmatched clarity and minimal distortion, but are prone to scratching so care must be taken in their handling. The matte black finish is durable and resilient.

What I enjoy most about these glasses is the impact resistance which allows me to wear them all day and continue to wear them when I go to the shooting range---no need to switch to cheesy looking safety glasses like I wore in high school science class.

Frame: Titanium Pewter
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized
I managed to get 3 pairs of these for $75 and it was probably the best deal of my life. The frames look and feel great and are very comfortable. I haven't tested out the hydrophobic lenses but the black iridium polarized lenses look maybe a little better than the older version...nothing too noticable. The titanium frame models also come with a hard vault which is an awesome addition.

Frame: Pewter
Lens: Warm Grey

These are classics already, with such a heritage aas the Square Wire, the third must be great. And I tell you, it is! I specifically choose the Pewter - Warm Grey combo for it's overall classic look. The non-Iridium together with the soft and elegant Pewter makes the New Square Wire good for all occasions, low or bright light, sporty or classy, it's all possible.

Frame: Brown Chrome
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium

My (now) favorite lens in an understated, tasteful frame. Extremely comfortable for long-term wear, though as with any spring hinge the trade-off for increased comfort is a looser fit. Doesn't matter, 'cause they're not designed for sports anyway.

All in all, a new classic, and possibly the best wire frame Oakley's ever produced. My humble opinion, of course.

Frame: Any
Lens: Any

Excellent colorways for such a classy looking frame. Defaintely a must-have. Not too heavy, very simple, yet refined at the same time. I can't stress how nice the colorways look in real life.

For example Brown Chrome is 10 times better looking in person than in real life.

A litlle heavy but i like my glasses to have some weight. My first pair with the VR28 lenses and what a remarkable lense, shame on me for going so long without experincing this lense

Frame: Olive Chrome
Lens: Dark Bronze

I wasn't a big fan on the color scheme on these. The olive chrome is kind of wierd to me. I liked the brown chrome a lot better. I didn't feel like the olive chrome went well with the dark bronze. Either way, the square wire 3.0 is still very comfortable to wear and light weight. Eye coverage is also very nice.
