TERRORISM -
Considering the fact that clear lens options also include both Titanium Clear and Ruby Clear, I can't really imagine why anyone would choose these lenses. From a collector's standpoint they score kudos based on their exclusivity; from a technical standpoint, however, they lack the appeal of their "clear counterparts". The biggest drawback of these lenses is probably the fact that it is very easy for others to see your eyes while you're wearing them, and the color is simply bland.

Let me tell you guys why this lens is so good. Often in clubs they have a disco ball or stage lights waving around, and when they hit you they are dazzling. These glasses allow you to see in the low light but take the edge off the party lights. I call them my clubbing glasses. Yes, they are a novelty, but that is part of the fun. I've been wearing them (zeros) to church ever since they put in the disco lights during praise and worship. They also serve me well on rainy days when I want more style over clear lenses in my flak and half jackets.

When these went on sale for the Monster Pup for only $20, I couldn't pass them up. eBay + cheap lenses = really cool, low cost custom sunglasses. They're clear. I feel as though people are not fairly reviewing them by themselves, only reviewing them compared to other lens options. They look awesome. They are for low-light or indoor applications. I can't think of a practical application for them. They are a for-fun only lens.

I have these in a Warden, and they are awesome! They are more effective than either of my Ti Clears in hiding my eyes, and for me, gold on a Warden is always a winner. Of course being clear they are not much good in the sun, but that isn't the point with this lens. In the Warden, ghosting hasn't been a problem for me.

Another one of these silyl lenses that you cant really use. alot nicer than TI clear but not alot more useful, because of the slight gold tin you do get a nice contrast but sadly these arent dark enough to wear in anything but clouds.

I can understand why there seems to be a split opinion on this lens. The idea of a Gold Clear lens is quite appealing, but I'm not completely sold on it as of yet. I think it looks quite feminine in the Warden and I have been very reluctant to wear it. I'm interested in seeing how this lens looks when paired with the Gascan (new AF model soon to be out). It is for total fashion, as it has a hard time blocking the blinding rays of a 30-watt bulb but it should score points with the fashion-conscious crowd.

I love these lenses. I have them in the Zero S and they are so sweet. They offer great style and at the same time serve as your shades. I wouldn't wear these during a very bright day. But you can get away with it.

i own the warden with clear gold iridium , and it looks great , people will see your eyes, but only from a certain angle. there is an amount of ghosting inside the lens, but no worse than for instance clear ruby iridium.
all in all a lens that really can be an addition to ones collection

This lense is horrible!

- The iridium is very light, your eyes can always be seen.
- - - These provide a extrem ghosting, you'll get crazy wearing them!

A clear lense with disadvantages... now why should someone be interested to get these?! Imagine that you can see your own pupils very often - the mirror on the inside is much stronger than the one on the outside.

I have/had these for my Thump2 and Zero and I experienced the same problems on both shades (and the gascan frame block light from the outside much better than the zero - but that changes nothing!)

I tried the zero with this, and was less than impressed. I'd get killer headaches if I wore this for longer than a few minutes. While I understand it's a fashion lens, it lets in a ton of light which is amplified by the zero's lack of orbitals. The ghosting was really throwing me off.

Looks like regular Gold at first glance, but when you put them on, it's like nothing is there. Well except for the ghosting effect that most clear lenses have. Can't complain though. Nice indoor or nighttime glasses.
