This lens is just average in my opinion. The outside is amazing, but looking through, everything looks dull and boring. It may just be my personal taste though. It seems more dull than most gray base lenses.
Just a truely beautiful lens, such a nice shade of green being not too rich just a perfect pale green. I have them in my A Wire 2.0 and they are not only great looking out in the sun but they perform great too! They do have contrast enhancing properties but only just suitable for overcast days. These are as rare as hens teeth apparently as only two (now discontinued ) models featured Polarized Emerald! There are not many Green mirror lenses out there! Only Costa Del Mar and Revo mainly have them but only in a few of their own select models, just like Oakley! Anyhow Emerald Polarized looks very dressy and expensive when compared to the annoying reds or fire Iridium tints. I love green and it's my favouroite color so I am glad to wear it on my Sunglasses! I am an environmentally conscious person too.
The emerald color is very nice and its good to have a polarized option for them. I actually prefer using the non polarized emerald over these. Although, I will say the polarized version comes in handy at the beach. It really helps to cut down the glare.
Quite a nice soothing lense to look through, but not spectacular.
But pretty much a really nice lens to look at from the outside, and the polarization cuts down on glare if you are near water.
A nice, understated color that is uniquely Oakley, but not in-your-face like fire. I loved the slightly blue base tint, however it doesn't do much for increasing contrast.
Not only does the fact that this lens looks and performs so well make it so remarkable, but factoring the exclusivity of it makes it that much more of a truly incredible lens. I consider the Emerald Polarized one of my favorite lenses as well as one of Oakley's greatest achievements. I'd say that I'd like to see it available for more styles, but as I previously stated, it being so rare only makes it that much cooler.
Combining one of the most versatile iridium lenses with added polarization results in the rare and elusive combination of Polarized Emerald Iridium. As most can attest, Emerald Iridium by itself is excellent for both medium and low-light conditions, and provides superior contrast. Polarization only makes the lens that much better. To the best of my knowledge, this lens option was only available in two models: A-Wire and Titanium C-Wire. Undoubtedly one of Oakley's greatest accomplishments.
