This lens is a great all-a-rounder. I have other pairs of oakleys with blk irid plzd and vr28 blk irid plzd. I have to say that the ones I've used the most are the bronze polarized. I like the fact that when you walk indoors you don't have to take them off. People can see your eyes and walking into medium-lit stores doesn't hinder vision at all. I've had gold iridium plzd in the past and i like these better. I live in the tropics where it's extremely sunny and the 15% transmission has always been sufficient. I've put them away so I can get some use of my blk and blk VR28s. I want to buy a gray or light grey polarized next because leaving them on even when indoors is convenient. and safer.

I have an old pair (6 years+) of Unknown's with the bronze polarised lens and they are my "go to" glasses for spotting striped bass on the salt flats of Cape Cod. No other lens I own lets me see fish the way these do and I'm pissed that they are loosing their anti-glare coating on the inside. Oakley, bless 'em, say they'll give me 60% off a new pair of shades with a trade-in but the Unknown's are now dis-continued, so it'll have to be be the Minute 2.0's... shame as I loved my Unknown's!

Very nice lens, really brightens up the outside world. Very easy on the eyes. This is my first pair of Oakley sunglasses and it's hard to take them off. The original lens was Black Iridium but I switched to Bronze Polarized for better contrast. It's amazing to look into the sky because you can see clounds that aren't visible to the naked eye. Clouds actually look 3-d.

A nice conservative option for polarized. They work very well in medium light and are passable in the brightest of conditions. I prefer gold iridium or tungsten iridium for full sun, but these do the job. They do not hide the eyes very well if you're into that sort of thing. These seem to be the go to option for polarized brown frames. I would like to see more gold and tungsten.

This is by far my all-around favorite lens. I was able to pick up the SI Desert Gascans from a friend, and I wasn't too happy with the regular Bronze lens. I swapped them out for the Polarized version, and it made all the difference in the world. Bronze Polarized increases contrast and reduces eye-strain in every possible lighting condition, save night time. I prefer the lenses for overcast, rain, snow, dawn, and dusk. I'll fall back to my Black Iridium Polarized if I know it'll be just bright, but the bronze is what I take for uncertain or varying conditions. Regarding the color comparison to Gold Iridium, there is a definite, more pronounced brownish tint to everything that you see. Gold Polarized would be the midpoint between Bronze and Black.

I own a pair of Oil Drum's (with the bronze polarized lenses) and they fit my broader face very well. The lenses at first feels a little light for extreme bright light, but no irritation occurs. This is an excellent choice if you like to have a greener and bluer view on life, as the lenses give good color enhancement on vegetation and sky. Polorised just adds that little extra clarity.

Bronze Polarized is an excellent choice for overcast or less than bright conditions and adds the benefit of polarization. Unfortunately, the lenses may be too light for some as the wearer's eyes are visible to the outside world. Also, theses lenses would be less than preferable for very bright conditions.

very nice lens, got these in a night camo MD and they look great.
i find bronze too light so the polarization on these makes it more suitable for sunny days.

It's my first pair of oakleys (plasma halfjacketw/Bronze polar)a great pair of lens and really nice for relaxing on the beach makes everything light brown almost yellow. I've had mines for 5 1/2 months not one scratch, probably cause I treat the lens like
there worth $1,000. I really like the frame color plasma because
like black It goes with fire and ice polar too.

You cannot go wrong with this lens.
Makes everything bright and super sharp, but still soothing on the eye,and the polarization cuts down on glare if you are near water.

Seems to be a popular polarized color nowadays along side Amber, and Grey. I'm guessing to keep the price down, since those three are all base colors without iridium. Bronze Polar is a nice shade. You can see your eyes from the outside, so there's no hiding them, but the golden hue is nice to look through. Think Gold or Ti Iridium without the mirror coating.

It's actually a little light for Extremely Bright Light but the polarization more then makes up for it. Comfortable in all conditions. People can see your eyes though so there's no hiding what you're looking at. It's my first polarized lens as well and it does work wonders but I find it will play tricks on you if you look at something with an odd pattern on it, LCD screens and even windows and windshields.
