I don't know if this is a sin in the oakley world, but I just picked up an incredibly worn out pair of e wires with emerald iridium lenses. i'd like to not have to buy new lenses for them, so is there a way to cleanly take off the iridium coating on a lens, leaving the usually hidden grey lens exposed? It would be great if this pair could get more use

They are A wires, not E

that might be hard to do without actually damaging the polycarbonate lens because as oakley has it" the iridium coating is "fused at the molecular level"

Haha I guess, but if that were actually true, the iridium layer wouldnt chip so darn easily
