I'm sure you've already seen, but it's no longer there at all. It's now a "BelowTheBelt" store... although by the look of it, Oakley moved out so fast that they left all the store fixtures behind including the stores overhead industrial look lights. Love to find a way to get my hands on them.

My gf was talking to the Sunglass hut manager a few months ago and I guess there's casual talk about opening up a new store somewhere in the lower mainland. Not holding my breath though, I used to work at the metro store and their sales numbers were always a struggle. Oakley Corp couldn't even be bothered to fix the burnt out Oakley sign above the store entrance.

I want to open up my own Oakley inspired store.

You should definitely be put in charge of updating and maintaining the shoe section of the database here. So many shoes!! I just saw photos of the new Confront boot(and mid) looks cool. Hopefully they’ll release a more aggressive approach shoe. I need a new hiking shoe. :)

Yeah, I think it’s a coded message from the engineers at Oakley for help and they’re being held captive. Most of these glasses designs remind me of cheap glasses in a toy store.

I’m probably only interested in the Parlay, but what’s with the name?

The majority of those sneakers have been available for over a year now. I bought the pair that Dann posted above and they’re okay. Not much support at all, I’m using my Birkenstock insoles to compensate for that, but they are very light, sole has good grip and do look cool.

The Nomad is a new shoe to the US/Canada site but I’ve noticed that Brazil gets these shoes a year or two prior to being listed in N.American. Might get a pair of Nomad to replace my casual hiking Salomon shoes but definitely have my eye on the Atom in the white.

The 2022 Winter Olympics are a mere 6 months away. I'm sure you'll be seeing more of this model soon and more expensive limited editions to spend your money on.

Oooo, I’ll be keeping my eye on the cross country ski teams then. I want to replace my jawbreakers with something else for skiing in. I wonder if they’ll do a winterized Kato ??? Ooooo

I think the Xeus / Zeus looks horrendous. Like a bad Briko wanna be from the late 90’s. Even the oval name placement looks Briko from a distance, and up close. Oakley trying too hard to make new eyewear not look like their classics. So frustrating. But at least it saves my bank account . :)

Could just be an issue with how the code populates the page. I’ve seen limited sold out items show up multiple times before but never any items actually available.

They have a stretch line text on the lens, not a Factory pilot text if I’m not mistaken? Or are there multi versions of FP text ?

Really digging the colour shift stuff lately.

M Stunning !!

So the “holographic” is the Odyssey collection ?

Looks like they confirmed Evan for this weekend ? Looking forward to both of em.

At least they added a Factory Pilot custom option for the Sutro Lite. Sounds like things are slowly making a way back to where they should be.

Thanks Dann Not sure why I was having troubles following along. Cool. The ThinStretch and the Factory Pilot is definitely my favourite. Kinda wish they had added the ThinStretch text to the bridge of the Clifden.

So the name of the text that appears on the cabinet is called ? I posted a picture of the one I’m thinking about.

So the Oakley text that’s on the old school riveted aluminum cabinets. That’s called stretchline ? That text and the Factory Pilot text are my favourite.

Oak Maybe something to do with the periodic table. 3D printed titanium. They do call it "1875 X-Metal"

4130 Chromoly (Reynolds 525 and 725)
Aluminum (6061 and 7005)

From my super limited knowledge of 3D printing... literally the last 20 minutes. Both Argon and Rhenium are used in the process. That's my theory anyways. The other theory would be related to the score clock they teased in the Instagram stories correlation somehow with the Bulls Season the year or game that X-Metal first appeared.

Did everyone see that there’s a new custom Sutro lite option to choose? There’s now Custom Sutro Lite Factory Pilot . Pretty sweet actually. Honestly the Sutro family looks best with the Factory pilot text over the elliptical O. Oh & vented lens, obviously.

“... For more information on Oakley’s athletes and the collection, go to Oakley.com. ...” where on the site ? Am I the only one that can’t find anything or navigate the updated (trash) Oakley website ? And where is everyone finding these promo photos and articles?

Hopefully you downloaded a copy :)

Oakley updated the look of the website & it’s horrible. Every time I go to the site now I keep looking for the beauty cream, eyeliner & hair products. Think we collectively need to tell them the new look sucks.

I can still order 25 pairs on the Canadian site. Should I buy em all and list them right away on Ebay. (I'm not actually)
Feb 2, 2021 6:51 PM
I added one to my cart this morning & selected quantity ... there were 17 available for purchase. An hour later, 16. Two hours later, 25. Yeah not very limited edition. “With only 55 available to MVP’s”. I’m gonna read into that & say it’s a 55 pre release with more on the way.

I want the shields to come in a stitched aesthetic look of some sort. That would be dope. Plus the stretch line text across the bridge. I currently have 2 pairs & they’re sweet.
