Hindsight...yeah. I did get it because of the all black face - and the price was WAAAY right, as this outdoor/motorcycle shop was liquidating. I'll figger it out, or just get another one!! But first, PIT BOSS !

Does anyone know if I can get a metal band for my leather banded minute machine? Can somebody perhaps point me in the right direction? I like the leather, but interchangeability would be nice...

I have a list of items / materials and can give you plenty of ideas on how to do this yourself... all from the web and Home Depot. If you take your time, you can build it any way you want. Check out photos of my homegrown vault on facebook - here.

Make your own. Take your time, have fun. Its a little like Richard Dreyfuss in Close encounters building Devil's tower, but it was relaxing for me to do, and most people dont even realize its not the real thing. I'm in the process of building a full-wall bookshelf in my office. It will be faced in Oak and stained dark, but will be finished with Oakley-style aluminum rivets. I will post pics while it is under construction. -Bill O, copilot 09
