I have had an Oakley "problem" for about 9 years now, which actually led me to my current career as a Market Manager for Sunglass Icon.

I am thinning out my collection of many glasses I no longer wear. Here is a list of wires I am looking to unload:

Titanium Whisker: Gloss Black/Blk Ir Polarized AND Titanium/Ti Ir Polarized. Both pair are in like new condition and were seldom worn. Sorry no boxes, just micro bags. $175 each or $300 for both. BOTH SOLD

Titanium/Titanium Ir NOT Polarized SOLD.

A-wire (c-5 alloy): These were among my earlier "custom" projects. They are NOT in "great" condition, but are wearable or can be used as projects of your own, I can provide micro bags, but NO boxes. All frames are structurally good and will hold lenses fine. I marked the condition of each below:
1. Thick Silver brushed/Ice Iridium Polarized. Frame= new, Lens=fair $70
2. Thick Dark/Fire Iridium Polarized. Frame=new, Lens=fair $70
3. Black Chrome/Amber Blk Polarized. Frame=Fair, Lens=fair $50
4. Was carbon, attempted to polish results were not bad/Blk Ir Polarized. Frame=Fair, Lens=Fair $50
Will take $200 for ALL 4 Pair.

I am happy to provide some pics, but I don't log on here often anymore. If you are interested please email at oakleynut13@yahoo.com. All Prices ARE negotiable - I know the value on most items can fluctuate, and I am a bit out of touch on the going rate, so if I am out of line on some of these prices let me know. I'm not trying to gouge anyone, but also don't want to give them away.
Thanks,
Jason

I am in the process of clearing out my collection and I have a few pair that I feel may be better appreciated here rather than on ebay or craigslist. All of these items have mostly been sitting in my collection for the last 8-10 years and have seldom if ever been worn.

Penny Ti/Ice Ir AND custom cut Blk Ir Polarized. I cut the Blk Polarized lens from a Juliet lens and was able to maintain the "Polarized" etching. No serial number, but does include box, coin, etc. SOLD

Soviet Hijinx BNIB never worn. Includes all packaging, pin, and bag. $500

London Police Gascan. New condition, worn only a couple of times. Includes ALL packaging, box, bag, etc. $300

Over the Top FMJ/Fire Ir. BNIB never worn. Includes ALL packaging, box, lens cover. $500 SOLD

Original Straight Jacket Blood w/Skull VR28 Blk IR AND CUSTOM cut Blk Ir. Polarized. Like new, seldom worn, bag but NO Box. $300

Original Straight Jacket Black w/Green Flames Emerald Iridium Like new, seldom worn, bag, but NO Box. $200

I don't log in here much, so if you are interested, it may be better to email me at oakleynut13@yahoo.com I am happy to provide pics of any of the above items. All Prices ARE negotiable - I know the value on most items can fluctuate, and I am a bit out of touch on the going rate, so if I am out of line on some of these prices let me know. I'm not trying to gouge anyone, but also don't want to give them away.

Are you only interested in the plastic stands? I have quite a few of the single and two tier silver metal stands - a growing number as I am selling down my collection. I also have a number of other display items if you are interested you can shoot me an email: oakleynut13@yahoo.com.

Unfortunately, I have come to a point where I need to part with a fair amount of my collection as I need the money more than I need an excess of glasses I never wear. To start I have for sale:

Original C-wire Titanium/Titanium Ir $125 Mint, rarely worn, NO box.

Original C-wire Titanium/Emerald Ir Pol $150 Mint, rarely worn, NO box

A-wire 2.0 not (rx frame, but same as regular frame) Platnum/Gold Ir Pol $125, Mint, rarely worn, WITH box.

OO E-Wire(3 Pair), OO A-wire(2pair), OO Square Wire (2 pair) All rx frames in assorted colors with OO lenses custom cut to fit in frames WITH "O" in the corner. Most with boxes, never worn.$60 a pair.

Titanium Square wire 3.0 Olive chrome/Tungsten Pol. Mint, rarely worn, WITH box and hard case. $150

This is the first "round". I have many others I will likely be parting with. My plan is to post each round here for a week before putting on ebay. If you check out my collection here, I plan to keep my Juliets, half jackets, and fives a good bit of the rest is likely to be for sale in the future. My asking price can be open to negotiate, if you see anything of interest message me here or email at oakleynut13@yahoo.com

For my half jackets, I use a customized electronics box. The lower part I ripped out the foam and replaced it with slotted foam to hold 18 sets of lenses. The top part "trap door" works great for holding up to 8-10 frames(w/o lenses) and about 4-5 micro bags.

although they do not take the same lens, if you needed a set for the gascan s you could always chop a set from a gascan.

I wouldn't waste your time/money. I got one when they were available at the o stores. Very disappointed with the results.

I agree the deep blue is awesome...for bright conditions, however it will be a good bit different than the VR 28 blue pol as the deep blue is a grey base. The shallow blue, which I LOVE for days when the sun is in and out, is closer in transmission to the VR28 blue, but it is more of a bronze base where the VR28 is a rose base.

I am a huge fan. I have three pair I customized: Jet Black/Ice polarized blue earsocks, jet black/Emerald Ir. polarized with green earsocks, and crystal black/Fire Ir. polarized with orange earsocks. (in addition to the other 4 pair I have of this frame).

I would generally agree, depending on your own light sensitivity. I prefer a much darker lens as well, however my wife does not like a dark lens at all. When we are on the water she wears light grey polarized when I wear black iridium polarized. I like light grey polarized in rainy weather just for cutting glare as it doesn't seen to darken my world much.

In the long run, once Lux finally gets Oakley production to China, as I expect will eventually happen, anything bearing the "made in U.S.A." tag will become sought after as it will have the quality we expect from the Oakley brand. (Think arnette...)
