I´m 32 and got my first pair of razorblades in 1988,or 89,and have been obsessed ever since!
Had the old school frog skins and m-frames,but lost those to long gone girl friends.Started collecting a few years ago,and haven´t stopped since! I have 31 pairs between my wife and I. I have managed to get my hands on all the lenses available for the Razor Blades,Blade, and Slit lens system.I have owned no sunglasses other than Oakley since my first pair of interchangeable Razor Blades back in the day.

The deal with the plasma frames is....Oakley used to offer a plasma frame for the juliets that had kinda a silver-gold coating on the frame, and they quit making plasma in that color...I know because I had the older color(from 2001) and sent them into upgrade from non-polarized to polarized, and they sent me back the current style (plasma juliets),and I didn´t care for the color, but after calling to figure out why I sent in one color and got another back, they said that the older plasmas were having problems of discoloring, and they upgraded me to the current plasma....so..thats my expierience with it,I just scored a mint pair from ebay, for over 200 buck.So I hope that helps..

Phil,
I gotta ask on the slits,is that an actual lens color offered for the slit?
And the new realease razor blade,I hadn´t seen that color before.

Yeah,I e-mailed the seller, and they responded with an appology, and said they´d void the auction.

So...that´s cool

LOL....Financer......For me and my wife it´s a battle for 1st place on who´s Oakley collection is bigger,so she pretty much keeps the cleaning bags she finds in my pockets.
I get stuck with the old grungy ones,or with the old grey ones.

You might be a true Oakly fanatic if: You realize that when you compare you´re collection to the selections available in retail stores, that your inventory at home is not only better, it´s more extensive then theirs!

Or my favorite,is when you know more about their product then they do!

Hey, I´m sorta new to the Oakley Review, but have been an Oakley Freak since the 80´s. I read on this site that there is a version of the Riddles that comes with Violet Irridium.I checked Oakley, and can´t fine anything about them. SO,I kinda wanted to know if anyone knew anything about frame colors with that lens, and how old of a model was it?
