Im happy to share them with the community...like i said, i dont ever get big hauls, or incredible multiple deals...ive struggled like many of you and paid top dollar to get the collection to where its at.this is the first time ive jumped on multiple items...and i owe it to jeff and his team. He really engineered the deal, and they really scrutinized over who would get the sign and the couch. In a way they were protective of it, not wanting it to resurface on ebay. Rest assured, i wont part with them...and im so grateful they decided to go with me. Great year. Merry christmas everyone.

Thanks for the feedback Ken. I consider myself extremely lucky, and am grateful to add these pieces of oakley history to my humble collection. I draw inspiration from you guys, discreetly, but i'm pleased to be one of the clan. Keep collecting...good things materialize from time to time.

Jeff made a package deal that i couldnt pass up. All i wanted was the long solid aluminum sign. I tried for it, but then settled for one small block...never dreming i could land the larger one. I bought 8 sandbags in the meantime as momentos...because i assumed you guys would get everything, and i was fine with that. Then Jeff, after seeing my collection, and speaking on the phone, offered me the all the signs and the couch and some smaller things...I didnt even want the couch because i knew the heavy hitters would scap it up....so, i jumped on it.
Want to know something that will make everyone laugh?.....i cant fit it in my bunker, so i have to take the siding and one window out on the second floor and bring it in that way! Lol...damn it!!!!

so i will take a moment to thank my new found friend jeff jamile and his team. They've given me the opportunity to add some great pieces to my collection, and entrusted me with the stewardship of some of oakleys 'golden age' of art. I cannot believe what a great guy jeff is...absolutely helpful and enthusiastic..and i just wanted to convey that to the o-review community. enjoy.

I apologize for just seeing this post now...I'm absolutely shocked and saddened by hearing the news of steves' passing. I had the chance to sit and chat with him at the co-pilot event in 2009 and he was a genuine, humorous person, full of wit and oakley wisdom. My condolences go out to his family, he will be missed.

Thanks oak...
Dann, I was going to write "sad" too...I mean, it meant so much to me to be able to get one at all...I cant even imagine buying to resell...thats my love of the brand. I hope I see some more people on here with them...I'd like to see them go to the true collector's...without the hiked up prices. Its expensive enough.

Im a little bit perplexed that a lot of the ones sold that night went on eBay...I could never part with them for profit, and Brian Takumi was both generous with his time and knowledge. So cool that he signed my bunker. Great night.
