ive just had a real urge to get my hands on a set of these recently and was just wondering who on here has sum??

do they come in a different box??
does any 1 know the amount made??

same box , same sku, only thing is it is printed blade 2 ! the les does have the etching ! as how many well don't know !

I was told 500 were made. Another much more connected member said 100 on the forum a long time ago, so who knows at this point.

Last one I saw went for $ 400 because it was mislabelled. Most go in the $600-700 range.

Somebody told me around 500 produced for EACH MODEL of BLADE 2 FOURS (Thanx to MR. RICK FAWCETT) and BLADE 2 OVER THE TOP (Thanx to EBAY).

I am lucky and fortunate to have both.

WOW that BLADE 2 OVER THE TOP is PURE SIKKNESS!!! I LOVE MATTE BLACK!!!

Matte Black Over The Top is my Favorite!!!!!!

Yep popped lenses in myself.

Blade 2 and ruby came with matte black OTT already.

Then had to acquire 4 matte black ruby OTT and 4 Plasma OTT with black, ice, emerald and fire lenses and switched them.

Have to thank Mr. Rick Fawcett for encouraging me to purchase the BLADE 2 OTT and to ifynanceu Josh for helping me acquire a matte black OTT and to all u here on o-review for the support.

Without u all my collection wouldn't be!!!! :)

Just cleaning out my messages and found a e-mail from 2004 that I sent to Oakley regarding the Blade IIs.

Me: How have you been lately? Long time no speak. I'm looking for the Blade II signature series sunglasses offered in the early part of 2002. Would you happen to have any left?
Oakley: Unfortunately, we do not have any of those left. We still carry the Overthetop and Four S model, as you probably know.
Me: Would you happen to know how many were made?
Oakley: Regarding the Blade II Four and Overthetop;
I spoke with the brand managers, and they say that 5000 of the Blade II Four and 500-600 of the Blade II Overthetop were made worldwide. The difference in production is due to the Four being more popular, half as expensive and available at more stores than the Overthetop. Just so you know.
