Since the Holeshot is on the SI site now, I'm pretty sure I will get one for work. I was wondering if someone could post a pic of it next to a GMT for size comparison. It says that Holeshot is 47.5mm excluding crown, which is pretty big for me. Maybe I can pull it off. Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't have the GMT, but I do a couple of Judges. The holeshot is a bit bigger, but wears much nicer and with the Unobtanium band, it fits much better...I will try to put a pic together after a bit for you. You shouldn't have troubles with it...

The GMT is a bit bigger than the Holeshot. The Holeshot is about the same size as a Judge. I'll try to take a couple of side-by-side photos when I get home tonight.

Hang on.... The GMT and the Judge are the same size, identical cases.

Was thinking of getting this for my girlfriend. Is it too big for a girl? How easy to use are the timer and stopwatch functions? Is it difficult to be exact with the analog display? She has trouble reading analog clocks, and I'm hoping this will get her over that silly handicap.

They can't have: the GMT has two more buttons than the Judge!

It doesn't have a timer. The hands are fairly big but there are only numbers at 12, 3 and 9.

boo, she has to time stuff at work. Would any oakley watch be suitable?

The GMT has an alarm on it but I can't work out how that thing works (I just want to turn the damn thing off permanently!). None of the five Oakley watches I have (GMT, Judge, Timebomb, Holeshot and Minute Machine) have a timer on them. I'd be surprised if any analogue watch had a timer on it.

yes the GMT has two extra buttons on the left side but the physical size of the dial and cases are identical as well as the band being the same.

The D series are suitable for that and you can get them fairly cheap and in colors for women.

As for Holeshot size, I have the smallest wrists out there and the Holeshot fits great and I don't look like Flavor Flav on my wrist.

I know what you mean but the two extra buttons make the watch almost a square shape.

As to the original question: the Holeshot is slightly larger than the GMT but only a few millimetres (about four by my slightly drunken measure last night). The dial is more or less the same size but the buttons are a bit bigger and that makes the watch slightly bigger overall.

What do you mean by 'timer'? Holeshot, Minute Machine, Crankcase, Judge and Detonator all have a timer ('chronograph')

As his original question was "How easy to use are the timer and stopwatch functions?" I assume he means 'timer' in the 'countdown' type thing.

I've been wanting the 10th Mountain Holeshot for some time now. $325 is a steal. I did notice that it seems to have a shiner case than the stealth version. Has anyone seen either version and can elucidate on the color of the case?

I want to get another Holeshot, but have 3 already! Maybe I'll save my pennies for the 12 Gauge?

Here's a quick pic. Also threw in the TimeTank in comparison of the other 2.

Wow, those are either big watches or you have a small wrist, homeboy. My Judge isn't nearly that big on my wrist...

I don't know if it's the camera angle or what, but that pic does make those watches look larger than usual. In any case, I do have girly arms, but not as girly in the watch pic. LOL
