Ok, I admit it...I was so eager to add an original pair of Straight Jackets to my Jacket collection that I didn't research the color combo.

Of course AFTER winning the auction, I don't see this color listed on the site...so do you guys think I just bought some fakes?

If so, they are obviously not going into the tower! :(

Hmm, not sure I have a definitive answer. The SJ are the 'new SJ' ... but not the 'new new SJ', just not the original SJ. Either way, I can't say I can recall the smoke frame or grey lens option in those SJ. And I don't think grey was a very available lens option back when those were released. And one of the possibly telling photos of the nosebridge (where you could see how well the oakely script is done), is also the blurry picture of the bunch.

Looking at his past auctions, he doesn't have a whole lot of Oakley stuff outside of nose pieces and kits. But that is probably a hopeful sign, as I would presume those are all real - and he doesn't have a long line of otherwise fake oakleys in his feedback.

They appear to be authentic, most likely the Vault exclusives (Sunglass hut and Sunglass Icon outlets also received them).

It looked like the icon was raised, ie the original SJ's...now I'm not quite sure....I was looking for an original not the new...I have the new in 3 colorways already, lol...if only I had them in front of me doh!

I guess it is hard to tell from the pic...but I jumped on them quickly cause I thought they looked like the original raised icon and were listed as original, granted I should of checked it out more before bidding.

Oh well...I'll post some pics of them when I get them and we'll see what I've got. Lesson learned I guess right? ;)
