Excellent work-When I was in college I made this small case for clothing-had to weld the aluminum angle pieces and rivet the whole thing-wish I had used the less common rivets you did. Anyway, this is nothing compared to yours, but thought I would share my enthusiasm...

I used retaining rings to hold the rivets and some little round wave spring under the ring in critical places, which are very strong, there isn't any loose in them. So they aren't really riveted, but it does pretty much the same job. And I used some wood, hammer and hand made tools to install them.

Very nice work with your case Brennan, has a lot of class, I love it.

Very cool with the lights and all Maxime, first time I see it that way. Alex at the Montreal o-store could also help you filling it up so you have to make another one !

Awesome cases.

What was the deal with that jacket? Also, I like the "In case of war, break" on the glass.

As an assignment we were given a word and asked to create a brand identity, and then market it. The word was apocalypse, so I created a brand of clothing that was capable of resisting numerous ballistics and fallout from Nuclear bombing. The piece pictured was a bulletproof vest. The idea was that these cases were placed strategically throughout the city for potential survivors, or individuals left behind during evacuation. The case has an attached bar on a chain so all you had to do was, "break the glass in times of war.

A bit sophmoric, but I had fun making the torso hanger, vest and case.
