This may be a spoiler for some of you......










As shown in the newest X-men Origins: Wolverine trailer, Cyclops makes an appearance. So it begs the question of whether he'll be wearing Oakley. The answer, unfortunately, is it doesn`t look like it. Here're some low res pics:

Possibly, but it may be some other Luxottica eyewear. Or it could be the director wanted to stay true to how Cyke looks in his younger years as portrayed in the comics. Cyclops has never really worn any Oakley-like sunglasses in the comics (with the exception of a dozen issues here and there when the X-men movies came out).

There might still be some Oakley product hidden in the movie, such as SI Boots, but I can`t really tell. We`ll see when the hi def trailer hits.

I watched the 2 minute trailer quite a few times a couple weeks ago. There is one quick shot where there is a dark looking man in the background of a scene (I think a bar) and he appears to be wearing a pair of nightshades. I think he had a side-folded straw hat on. Real quick shot which fades into another real fast since its a trailer. I'm at work, so I can't see youtube, otherwise I'd cite the minute/second.

Plus the story takes place in the past. Due to the sliding timeline, probably the 80's-90's at this point.

If thats the case, maybe they are actually trying to prevent from having any potential anachronisms (ie. Black Hawk Down, Jarhead) by not having Cyclops wear Juliet or Penny since it takes place in the 80s.

Yeah, would have been a prime oportunity to showcase the Collectors Frogskins. Something that was around, yet is still for sale.

I hate to say it, but everything about this movie looks set to be be a big pile of lame.

I personally can't wait for it. While it suffers from having too many marquee characters, the newest trailer looks incredible. Sabretooth looks to be convincing, cool and funny. Since the SI boot is all over the place this summer, I wouldn't mind seeing it in this movie either (ie. on Deadpool)
