Has anyone made a score in the Haggert bid? I'm up to 90 points - which means I suck....

Meh... I'm failing miserably at 190. But it's fun to play.

I was gone all day, so I didn't get a chance to watch much of it yet (on dvr), but I was surprised to see the '40 Barris custom that was found in a Chicken Barn in the city here where I live!! That was crazy...My grandfather worked with Barris before his passing the year before I was born, and he did the interior work on many of the cars I have seen pass over the auction block there on Jackson that graced the TV sets in the 60's & 70's...

Goldberg jumped out of some Dodge hemi last night, and had his trademark Ruby Mars swinging around his neck. He got quite a lot of airtime too, the reflection of the ruby lenses is impossible to miss.

Well, it was an enthralling 36 hours of Television and it is now over. The $600K T-Bird and the ZR1 prototypes were the highlights for me. I also got a kick out of the late-70's Trans Am's. All in all, a good show, but not nearly as exciting as years past imho. I really hope to make it down there some day.

I agree with Rick...Some cool stuff out there, but very boring in comparison, and really nothing that was over the top (no pun intended)...Couple of cool prototypes, some really cool nostalgic turn of the century things, but pretty stale. They said that GM was compiling another block of concept cars, pre-production mules, and similar vehicles for Palm Beach in 2.5 months...Should be interesting (aka boring) for that one. I bet you will see the other 2 of the big 3 start dumping vehicles too. Liquidity is what it is all about.
