Many of you are probably not aware that I have been obsessed with Steve Hegg (a retired track cyclist and road bicycle racer from the United States, who was a professional rider from 1988 to 2000. He represented the USA at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California, where he won the gold medal in the 4000m individual pursuit and silver in the 4000m team pursuit) since I was in diapers. Damn you Thombs!

if you want to give Rick a gift for his next birthday, a poster of Steve Hegg will be your best bet. He’ll truly be speechless. Definitely preferable to a new watch or car any day.
