Anybody seen a Polarized lens look as if the coating is bubbling and peeling off?

I've probably had these for 6 months or less and they've never been worn, only displayed. Just wondering if this is a common problem with polarized lenses. 98% of my collection is non-polarized.

WOW that looks really bad !
I would never have thought something like that could happen to 'high quality' lenses like Oakley's.
Will you be sending them back to Oakley, David? I would be very interested to hear what they have to say about this.

I can't see the pics.

Is the peeling on the inside or outside of the lenses?

Does Oakley cover this type of defect?

Hmmm, makes me wonder if I should send in my Square Wires. They are polarized and are peeling on the lense. Any idea if the cover this as warranty or would it be the cost of new lenses?

Thanks,

They'll cover it under the warranty.

They usually do cover something like that under the warranty but if there is any abuse or physical damage to the glasses they might not do it under the warranty or if the lens is scratched but if the only thing that is wrong is the peeling you should be good. Free with recite or $39 out of warranty fee. Good luck

Yeah, ditto. My Hijinx and Eyepatches are getting the peeling.

Mine are 4 years old, so I assume they're out of warranty? Ok, so if I want to take care of this should I send them to Oakley myself or do I take them to my local O-store for immediate replacement lenses?
