I don't know if it would be very usefull, but could it be possible to have a "delete page" button in the wiki.
For example, I just add a translation in the Wiki for the Romeo page, but I did a mistake when I selected the language. And now I can't delete the page I created ...
Ok ok, I'm guilty, I'll be forced to wear Foakley during one whole day é_à.

Yes, it's on my to-do list, which has rapidly not had an attention since the site went live and I moved back to getting real life things done. I will get to that at some point.

How about a search utility in the wiki section?

Yeah, I can list all pages, and then Ctrl-F, but it'd be nice to have a search content of all pages.

BTW, I think the wiki is a great way to put info and tidbits for all the items. It's interesting to watch a user-generated project grow! Thanks for the wiki!

Added subpages to the Wiki, as seen now in the Variations page. Just add a colon [:] between the name of the master page, and the subpage when creating a new page.

So 'Variations' is the master page, and the links that come off that are called 'Variations:Jakets' 'Variations:Zeros' 'Variations:Other' etc....

A menu within the main page will automatically be created.

Few new things. The discussion link will show a number next to it if there are comments. Takes the guesswork out of it.

Also there is a 'tag for deletion' link that you can click for pages that need to be removed. It will append a note to the current page and blank out the 'visibility' status for the revisions. They'll show up in the recent listing, but not in the all pages listing. Once tagged, an admin can come along and perform the final delete.

Yes, the wiki is growing more and more (thought the French translation is not advancing a lot) !

I tought about a suggestion.
Could it be possible to add a function to list all the pages translated in each language. Or at least (maybe easier, I don't know), put the language flags next to each page in the "list all page"... page.

I know you must be very busy but if you are able to stop sleeping during a month or two...

If you can translate the links that are above and below the main wiki entry. I want to make them specific to the language. So if you are browsing a French translations, the 'Update' or 'View Revisions' links will be in french too.

Of course I can, but how ?
when I try to edit the main page,
I don't have the links in the Edition field

But I can also give the translation here :-)

Here they are

Add New Page | List All Pages | List Recent Changes

Ajouter nouvelle page | Lister toutes les pages | Lister les changements récents
-----------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------

Edit This Page | Add Language | Tag for Deletion | View Revisions | Discuss

Editer cette page | Ajouter un language | Signaler pour suppression | Voir les révisions | Discuter

Another little problem.
I know how I should do in real HTML, but with the simple code I don't :

I'd like to make a link from the wiki french main page to the editing tips french page.
I tried to do this by changing the name of the page but that didn't worked.
Maybe an idea ?

That's what I meant, post them here so I could change them. So now when you view a page in French or Dutch, the links will be in that language too.

As for linking to another language page, I will need to fix some things for that to work.

Okay here's how it goes now:

If you are on a non-English page, each link will target the next wiki page in the current language. If that page exists in that language, it will show, otherwise it will default to the English page.

If it defaults to English, the menus will remain in the current language until you click on another link, which will bring you to another English page. At this point the language is dropped and it will remain in English until you change the language on a page that has been translated.

Oh one more thing. If you translate the words in a link, the page it goes to has to remain the same. So you would do the same thing you would normally do if you wanted the page link and displayed text to be different. Just put a | after the page name, and then type the text you want to show up. Like this:

The first word is the page it will go to, and the second half is displayed on the page.

Edit: make sure there's no space between the words and the line that separates the two.

Apparently, there is a second ME who likes to make troubles in the wiki.
The front page of the wiki has disappeared and when I click on View revisions, here is the last edition of the main page :
7 6/23/2009 7:45:58 AM BiGCoB Tagged for Deletion

Do someone know a good exorcist ?

Couple other pages were tagged the same way by me, so I have no idea. I fixed them.
