Does anyone know what is the screw size for the X-metals? I'm tryng to get ones, i found some site that sell it, but i don't know what is the real size.

Rick, I think he means screw diameter and thread count. Not the size of the torx bit. But I could be wrong. I've tried to buy them at home improvement stores before and have come really close, but still haven't found ones that will fit precisely. Anyone who knows the answer will win the ultimate Oakley Trivia Challenge!!! (hey that sounds like a thread that will be started very soon by unnamed parties....you know who you are.)

Oh yeah. I heard similar, if not exact screws are used in cellphones. Would be good if we could find an alternative source for the little buggers.

Yeah, my ipod has little torx screws in it as well. I believe they are Torx 5 (not sure). You have to get the right head though. Some Torx screws have a "pan" or "button" head and you need the "socket" head shape. I believe some cell phones use the "pan" head design. Hopefully this makes sense. When I get home I'll do a little more investigating on the subject.

I can't imagine it being that difficult to just take one of the screws into a well-stocked hardware store and see if they could find a match. Hard for me because of the language barrier, but you all have NO excuse! Doctor's orders.
