Just curious to find out if anyone else has a problem with the crosshairs lenses. Mine sometimes just pop out for no reason. Today it happened at the most inopportune time. I was in the parking lot and "POP!" right onto the hard jagged pavement. WTF? Scratched the hell out of them too. Now I'm going to have to send them in to get repaired. This is not the first time this has happened, nor is it a problem with just this pair as at least one other of my pairs has done that recently.

yes , it's a problem with the first batch they produced, later editions had it a lot less, but still had slight problems with it.

Yeah, it happens a lot to the early Crosshairs. I talked to a woman who bought some Chrome/VR28's right when they came out and she said she had to replace them within a week because they popped out so much. I have 4 pairs and have not had that problem at all though.

Did you happen to bend the frames at all in the slightest? Even dropping them a slight distance could be the cause of this and it is almost always permanent.

That's strange, I have one of the early Chrome versions, and the lenses popped out only once...
