I have just been notified by my OPD that he will have some money clips in stock. He said he was able to get about 100 or so of the 500 made worldwide. He is selling them for $60. I can pick them up over the weekend if anyone wants. the price is $62.88 (tax here is 4.8%) plus shipping (depending on method) and any fees, such as paypal (Approx. 3%). Let me know if anyone is interested.

These are $52 at any O-Store, and as far as I know they're on replenishment.. I dunno where he got that 500 made figure... But who knows, it's possible. But if they're on replenishment, I don't know how there would only be 500 made.

Just saw that people were searching for them and paying $100 or more on "the bay". He told me $60. Maybe there is an additional charge for Hawaii? I don't know. Anyway, just trying to help out here.

Well if the Ostores got the same amount then thats 8 per store (or what my store got) and with about 50 ostores not including vaults thats 400 in the first shipment, and I know we are going to be geting more on replenishment. Sounds like there should be more than 500 in production - ur dealer might be trying to pull a quick move on alot of wallets. And how would he be able to get 1/5 of the worlds new production of these money clip wallets? Thats alot of wallets for one small area seeing how there are already two o-stores on the islands out there.

I don't know. Wish I did so I could answer. My OPD is one of the biggest Oakley accounts in the country and definitely the biggest here in Hawaii that i've seen. Thats all I have to go on. As far as legitimacy of the limited numbers, I DON'T KNOW. If it doesn't sound right no problem. I am relaying info I got, right or wrong. I am not an Oakley dealer or distributer and can't claim anything more. If you want one contact me. If not, no problem. Let us leave it at that.

eh I'll push my luck. I wonder if they will last two weeks in the SoHo O-Store, because I'll be going to NYC again on the 26th.

Woah, an additional $10 for the money clip?
Andrew, who is your OPD? We know pretty much every one of the bigger OPDs around Hawaii and the regional sales rep personally. It sounds like someone's ripping you off and if so, we'd like to know who this is so we can let the uppers in corporate know about this and put a stop to it. Because if they're ripping off customers for the money clip, who knows what else they might be doing?

We know a guy in Honolulu who can get you the money clip for the retail of $52 instead of $62.
