now am asking is if i order both can the lenses be swapped ?

thx again.

hope this stupid question won't hit a nerve on anybody.

I assume the grapevine asian fit would also have a smaller base curve than the normal ones. If they're like the gascans, most likely they won't fit.

I tought the lens were the same size and all, that it was just the frame that was different a bit ?

I'm not sure on the lens size, but I think Eric's right.

Read the review that I did on this pair. I really wanted this lens as well, but when I saw it in person...not impressed at all. They didn't look anything like they do in the Crosshair S. Very dissapointed, possibly a batch thing?

If it's like the Riddle vs. Asian Fit Riddle, then the lenses won't fit. In addition to the frame being different, the Asian Fit Riddle lenses are smaller across, preventing you from doing a simple swap.

Same with the Gascans, AF lens are narrower compared to RF.I have tried it already.

Sorry this was a day late, but we didn't fail you! =)

The Grapevine Asian Fit lenses are in fact smaller than the regular Grapevine. So no swapping will happen.

As for the color, still not as attractive as I thought. They are more of a solid color, not much gradient to them at all; even when wearing them it's not prominent.

Hope this helps!

anytime you adjust the dimensions of the frame, it repositions the optical center of the lens. So, modifying the frame to make it "asian-fit" requires modified lenses that are configured to the new XYZ position. That's why Asian-fit lenses don't fit into standard frames.
