nothing fancy really just swapped the lenses between my plates.

cuz i've always felt that the bronze/titanium plate was too brown(especially when my tan makes me brown already), but i loved my titanium lenses, and loved my dark silver/black iridium pair as well,

so decided to see how i could go about changing the lenses between them, and possibly improving the look of the bronze pair:

and i found the solution.
remove the lower edge "plate"(which i purposely swopped in the picture below) by gently pulling it out and pop out the lens. simple as that !

lens removed:



pop in the lenses and place the edge back in, and its completed!




there we go:
bronze/blk iridium plates



and dark silver/titanium iridium plates



too bad i don't have the 24k plates to play around with as well.

now its time for you people with mad dremel skills to do up some crazy customs!!

and the plates have become my favourite pair all over again =)

Nice one Will ! I got a custom swap job I want to do with the 24k and the silver ones,I think the combos you made are as nice as the originals ones.

yeah,i would love to put the 24k lenses into the bronze frame really, and probably the black iridium into the platinum frame

Maybe try swapping the plate pieces too to add some accents to the frame.

It would be cool to paint the frame Matte white to really make the Plates stand out against the frame. Nice job though.

So, those little plates aren't glued on? I thought they were ultrasonically welded?

oh they're all ultrasonically welded on except for those 2 particular pieces or
plates". haha
