Oakley is designing altogether new items for Fox Racing, and the Oakley name should not be anywhere on the product. It's product for Fox, and I'd imagine there's MAJOR monetary enhancement for Oakley.

BTW, I haven't seen the Fox goggles yet, but I've seen a few of the eyewear designs. Oakley shoulda kept some of this stuff for themselves...it's pretty cool. And the new OAKLEY MX Goggle is also a go. Can't wait to see it.

I doubt they'll be very similar to Oakley glasses in terms of design. I'm thinking more along the lines of what Oakley started to do with the stretchline stuff. Aside from the O tech (plutonite, Omatter, xyz) they'll be unrelated.

Yes, perhaps we'll start to see a new patent or so come out of this.

I am very curious about the glasses. I can't wait. So they won't be branded Oakley at all? I could see it etched on the lenses. They had produced lenses for Eddie Bauer glasses a while back. EB designed the frames and O provided the lenses etched with XYZ OPTICS for the them.

I think that Fox logo is going to look pretty slick on the temple.

If they look real nice I will buy a pair. They are Oakley through and through. O is doing the complete design, right? Maybe not the paint job, but the frame and lenses?

Well if they are making all these Fox and Stretchline piees, then maybe then can return to the crazy designs back on the Oakley side, and keep that from becoming too conservative.
