Beware of this item. The seller is claiming it is the real OO Ichiro Carbon. But the serial starts with CJ and is asking for $500.00!

This is the funny part=
Don't be fooled by "put together" frames and lenses, these are brand new, unworn, factory fresh. Serial # CJ024551A.

Probably he was duped by the first seller and trying to sell it to another idiot. In a vicious world, the fool pays the price.

Glad to see someone else caught it. I reported it to VERO night before last. So hopefully if won't be on there much longer.

Did he just add the lower paragraph?? Mentioning why the serial # is like so?? Will VERO remove that??

EDIT: The Carbon frame is beautiful... Mine is just like very dark grey.. but this one is like Black!! Hmm....

Yes, he added the last paragraph and now the starting bid is $400.00 not $500.00. And you are right Jake this one looks Black, not Carbon!

And so people should be aware that there are fakes out there that's getting better and better!! If I buy them and just change the Unobtainium, I could easily fool those who has less knowledge about Juliets...
And this guy who's selling doesnt show us the serial #. I would like to see that :)

And guys, Check this out!!

Yup!! Just get a pair of authentic Ruby lens and change the RUBBER with Unobtainium and..... WALLA!!! A**-kicking 'Juliet'!!

But I still wonder how the frame would look like at extreme close-up...

NOTE: NONE of my Oakley's are fake! =p

Update: I contacted the seller TWICE asking for pict of the serial # that he mentioned and this is what he just replied:
I am unable to do that. If you cannot take my word for it, judging from
my
feedback, and the # I gave in the auction description please do not
bid.
Thanks for your understanding...Brad

Nice BS line from that guy..Notice the blue unob temples in the arm pic and the Ichiro sig in the lens...Not on the original pix...Certainly trying to pull one over on an unsuspecting buyer...

The irony of it all is that the seller wrote: "Don't be fooled by "put together" frames and lenses, these are brand new, unworn, factory fresh. Serial # CJ024551A."

This itself is a blatant lie. They are obviously put together, maybe not by himself but Oakley, which still doesn't change the fact that it's a custom. To add to that, they are not factory fresh, having changed owners once already. The person who buys it will in fact be the third owner. If it were a new (assumed recent) pair that was being replaced by Oakley, I do not think there would be any serial numbers on the frame at all, would there?

It's amazing to think that just 3 months before discovering O-review, I wouldn't have known anything about what the serial numbers meant. So much can be learnt here.

If the SAT's were Oakley based we'd have all gone to MIT or Harvard
