just a newbie question what is the difference between a juliets "OO" lens and a ice lens ? gonna custom a dutati and ichiro combos .

Thanks for the reply but it seems to me that actually both of them are quite the same except one has got this "polished" blue look under light wherelse the other had hues of purprish shade . The other difference is the opacity of both the lenses .Ice seems to have a better hide other than the "OO" which is a little translucent . Do correct me if i'm wrong .

Yup the Ice lens tend to hide ur eyes better than OO but the OO is for some reasons rarer and more expensive than the Ice these days... Not too much though, except for Ichiro OO Blue which is way more expensive..

hmm wonder does anyone have a customed carbon with ice to show here ? Would appreciate it because i will be going down to the oakley retailers to pick up either tomorrow .

OO blue lenses are awesome looking
Ichiro OO Blue just adds a little exclusivity, and is getting rarer by the day (so i heard).

I prefer the blue iridium to the ice. It just looks richer in my opinion.

I agree. I like the look of the OO better than the ice. I feel its more of a deep blue than the ice.

The Ice is more subtle than the OO IMO. They're very nice lenses.

the biggest difference I see is that ice is fairly a uniform blue color, whereas OO has the purple hues and deeper blues. transmission wise, ice is darker, but face it, more people have ice than OO and youstand out more with the OO. Yeah Dave, that's me, now we need to get you on the PW thread chillin' in your rubies... ;)

Ice is a lot more common than the OO and IMO only the earlier batch of Ice lens are nice as they also have purple hues like my Splice Ice :)
