Anyone know what this is? I thought it might have been a waxscraper, but I could not find it in the database.

It's a surf board wax scraper. Comes with board shorts, which is why you wan't find it in the DB.

If you surf its not pointless at all. All decent board shorts come with wax scrapers. I use mine all the time in the summer.
