This is true tick, although we at the o-store get a little laugh out of people who come in to an oakley store wearing oakley's and get confused when we call them out by name.
ah the little joys in life lol

I went to a local store today to try some new shades... and the employee there just stared grudging at my ichiro em slates.
Hell yeah, that's germany.

No compliments, just envy.

(Btw - I realized that I need to get one of these women line shades, the including accesoires are sooo damn nice.)

(And now I also want a riddle..)

((But I'm happy that the oil drum looked very ..ähm.. "womanly" on me))

((( 2 more shades.. and the canteen in the near future... I should really forget oakley and start to collect something cheaper)))

- the story of my life -

- end -

I went into a Vault store today wearing my Juliets and the sales kid came up to me and asked "Can I help you" and I just told him I was just looking. How horrible is this, the kid says, "Nice glasses, what are they?" Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!?

I told them they were Juliets and he just said, "oh. Ok." and then walked away. Then the sales girl came up to me and said, "Nice Juliets, I've never seen that combo before. Black and Plasma" Told her they were Rx and she said she has never seen or heard of Rx Juliets!?!?!?!?

I saw a lot of Fives today at the outlets. Tons. One guy was wearing Spikes and another guy was wearing Crosshair S but that was it. I rarely see people wearing xMetals. Oh well. I didn't give anyone a nod just because it seems like people are too busy and well, didn't feel right.

Last night I was eating at Chipotle and from about 150 feet out I spotted out of the corner of my eye a woman wearing the Chrome/VR28 Crosshairs that I had just gotten. She was actually older, like late 50's too. I couldnt keep my eyes off of them and once she got by me I had to compliment her. She said she loved them but the lense kept popping out....seems to be a common problem with them. I told her about the warranty but she said she's been rough on them and was just going to get another pair...looks like another one with the Disease.

Funny, that seems to apply to lots of X-Metal wearers too.
EC, I couldn't agree more. And I love the older Fives. They fit so much better than the new ones. Not that I don't love my Scelzi's, but my first Oakley pair was a bottom of the line Black/Grey Five. That frame still fits me better than almost any other I've ever owned.

I think it would be great if we came up with a universal sign for recognizing the O. I know Jeep drivers have the "Jeep Wave" so Oakley wearers should have an O head nod or something.

I would actually like to apologize to whoever saw me at the Willow Grove Mall in PA about a month ago. I was wearing my Oil Drums and someone in the food court said nice sunglasses as I walked by. I was so beat from the force march my girlfriend had me on that I just walked by without saying thanks. I figured it had to be someone from the O-review because no one else would know or care about a pair of polished black Oil Drums.

So again, sorry to whoever that was.

The jeep wave is a wave that jeep wrnagler owners give to eachother as they pass by on the road. I didnt believe it until I rode around with my friend in his jeep and he got about 5 waves.

On another note, I was wainting in line for food today and I saw a cop wearing a new pair of RX glasses (I dont know Rx frames). I asked him if they were Oakley (even thought I knew they were just by looking at the earstems) and all he was like is "Yes sir" and didn't even look at me. I was just like "those are awesome" and that was it. I didn't even get a glance from him to check out my Ti Spikes I was wearing.

i always look around me for ppl wearing oakleys and i do try to give them a respectful nod or something depending of the situation .... just that sometimes when i actually can say something like... nice glasses or nice oakleys or something ppl just think im crazy because not all of them know their true value they just buy them because of the name or what ever reasons they have....

but yeah i certainly let them know i saw their glasses...:)

Maybe we should adopt the 'ok' diving sign. You might get laughed at though.
