What's y'alls input. My current debate is whether I want to save for a Time Tank when it comes out, or grab a Timebomb off of Overstock.com.

I like your thread title. As for the answer, depends if you really want something new or something that's been around for a while. I broke down recently and picked up a second timebomb while I was supposed to be saving up for the Time Tank, but I have never been known for my restraint.

not much way of knowing how much longer the timebomb will be available new. the time tank will be around a while longer. if you plan on getting both eventually, I'd get the TB now.

That was the exact thinking which led me to pick up a Stealth Black/Cannon Yellow TB the other day. Who knows how many TB's are kicking around out there? The TB's price is so attractive at the moment that it is pretty much impossible to resist forever. Now, if I could just get my wife to understand this!

Well I guess it's a matter of her opinion as to how much gifts does she NOT get because of your addiction hahaha ! The key I guess is to regularly feed her some O gifts and hit two birds with one rock : 1)you enjoy buying O stuff, whether for yourself or someone else, and 2)she's under the impression that you're spending FOR HER (you actually are as a matter of fact)...plus, the more you buy her O, the higher the chances that she's gonna start to understand more and more how awesome the stuff this company makes is...finally, must make you proud to see your wife walking around in O !

I know for my part, my new girl's on her way to the addiction, she loves the clothes, loves the shades, loves the sandals, and she's surfing o.ca more and more often. Plus, she realises that Alex comes with Oakley, so she better get accustomed to it if she wants to keep Alex around. I know I sound cocky, but what the hell, I love the O ! It's a question of priorities fellows ! Plus, I'm only 20 hehehe...

Now as to answer the real question for this thread, I agree with Rick : TT's gonna be around for a while, while you don't know what might happen to TB's availability and price. So ultimately, if you plan on getting both (and we all know that you are, you just won't admit it), you should definitely score a TB, get the BOMB while it's still TIME...hahaha I find myself so funny sometimes, especially when I'm studying for 12 hours straight !

Your quite bright for being only 20 years old! You nailed it right on the head Alex.

He's gotta be pretty bright he's employed by Oakley...what? That doesn't automatically make you bright? Oops. Anyway, what Freesh is basically saying is "buy both" &, while he did back it up with a sound explanation, "Buy both" could be a slogan for the O-Review. It is a virtual certainty that if the word "or" appears in the thread title, "buy both" will be givin as advice within 5 posts. And those posts usually originate from Holland.

Good point Tick. This site is definitely not the best place to come for advice on buying. Maybe I'll change the scenario slightly and say I can only afford one or the other, and not both. (Unless I get a rockin job upon graduation). For the few of you who have had the luck to try on a Tank, any opinions?

wow Freesh, sounds like you have a lot of experience with these situations!

i think for now go with a Time Bomb. like Brian says, now is the time to get the Time Bomb as they're discontinued and already in limited supply, the discounted prices don't hurt either. another reason is that they're classic Oakley and would be an awesome addition to any collection.

the Time Tank still has not been publicly released yet AFAIK. besides, you'll have plenty of time to save up for it after buying the Time Bomb.

I would take a Blade, I think that's the nicest oakley watch out there. If you have to choose between TB and TT I would take the TT, just because I prefer the design.

All Overstock shows is the titanium dial. Is that all they have left or will they rotate colors over time?

i just picked up a TB to compliment my GMT. Very happy with it but WOW does it ever scratch easily! So much for this being a daily wearer!

Anyone know how much it would cost to get a replacement bracelet for it? I am not a big fan of the hidden clasp...
