I remember a few years ago seeing a pair of Oakleys on oakley.com that had the Michigan symbol on the lens (Midnight/24k combo). I couldn't find them in the catalogue. Does anyone else remember these or own them? What style are they? I'm thinking they were XXs.

I've seen them M Frame as well. Think this must be about 2 years ago, when most of the universities had their own color combos. Have been looking for them recently and couldn't find them either.

XX, Minute and M for assorted colleges. They were hard to track down all the styles which is why they aren't complete in the DB. If you search through collections you'll find some.

Yeah, I found a pair of the M Frames, but they don't fit my face too well.

The Collegiate Series had Twenty-five school colour combos,which they used on three frame styles; the M Frame, Minute and XX.

My LSU XX's are the same -Jet Black w/ 24K but the icons are purple

OOPs I am sorry u said Midnight...I was thinking of black cuz there is another school with Black/24K but icons are gold...sometimes it seems there more like 40 or 50 of these Collegiate frames...I'd still love to get the Metallic Sand/Gold pair

The Michigan glasses are kinda strange. They started out with 24K lenses (at least for M-Frame), which is appropriate for the Maize and Blue, but somewhere along the line they switched over to plain old Black Iridium but still with the engraved block 'M'. The local Parisian still has quite a few Minutes and XX's with the Black lenses.

Yes, the frames are Navy, not Midnight. Navy is slightly lighter.

Here's my M-Frame. It's one of the few pairs in my collection that I never wear.

All the models are in the db now from the official list. I found a few more that weren't listed as well. UNC ones seemed to be listed as Black Iridium, but the pictures had Ice.

Keep an eye out for them on ebay. Ive seen a few go for really cheap. Im not a fan of any of the models terribly much so I didnt snag them.

Does anyone know if they make a navy w/ gold icon Pro M Frame? I like the lens, but prefer the Pro Frames..

My OPD got a few of the Collegiate line in again. They'd been recalled by Oakley when they were discontinued, but since it's a town that gets SEC and ACC fans from all over the south, they got some select schools back.

The Seattle Sunglass Co. did have the Washington Huskies versions, but I'm pretty sure they haven't been in stock for a while. They are really bad about updating their website (ask anyone who's googled the Brown Juliet).

Dann, you completely forgot about OSU.

I was just in my little Oakley shop and they have several M-Frames and Minutes with the OSU "O" in the lense. I think the lenses are either Ruby or Fire. They look light purplish when looking through the back but reddish when looking at them.

I sincerely hope not. Tennessee isn't very well liked in Gainesville. If you want FSU, UGA, or UM, they still have those.

the rivalries with UM and FSU are "friendly". I don't think I've ever met anyone in the state who likes Tennessee. On a side note, the have only two now, an FSU XX and a Notre Dame one.

The ACC ones are pretty cool, especially since they're Polarized, unlike any of the other Collegiate frames.

Just as a followup-Seattle Sunglass does still have a few of the Metallic Sand/Gold Washington colorways in Stock They had 5 when I ordered my XX's...dont know if the 2 on Ebay came out of that stock..got my XX's today- Happy camper
