i got my white gascans from oakley directly. They came with a white bag AND a plastic sleeve over one arm. Hope this helps!

A plastic sleeve over an arm on an unopened boxed pair must be new (and random) for o-matter frames. I got the SI Desert Gascan about 2 months ago, and they didn't have the sleeve.

It seems like the earstem cams on the Gascan are back to be floppy again as well. My polished black frame (which I warranty exchanged from a very loose pair) has a very nicely defined detent, while the SI Desert has a loose, but defined detent that flops a bit when opened...if anyone can understand that. Fakes probably will have a half a$$ed cam detent feel on the ear stems.

Thanks guys. I'd seen the printing on some of my newer items, but I wasn't sure it had made its way to the gascans yet. All my GC's are pre-merger.

They've been printing on stems since before the merger. It's not because Lux bought them that they're there now.
