I think the no discount/coupon policy only applies to the glasses themselves. SGH let me use my $20 coupon on Oakley nosepiece & earsock replacement kits, but not on glasses.

really... last year i had one coupon for my Brithday, and one for Mid-Summer, and i couldn't use both on earsock/nosepiece kits, Graphic Wallets, or Soft Vaults at my local SGH's. guess it depends on the SGH you go to...

As we can see already, I'll break the rules, some others will bend them and others stand strick ground. It doesn't specifiaclly say Oakley (just that some brands don;t participate) so some may think all O items because they know no Oakley. When we have accessory sales O items are never included.

Me: "Hey, I'd like to look at some of the polarized Oakleys"
SGH Guy: "Ok, here checkout these Oil Drums"
Me: "Those are Gas Cans, but OK"
SGH Guy: "What about the Half Jackets?"
Me: "You mean these Bottle Caps? Yeah, they're ok."
SGH Guy: "What you really need are these Juliets"
Me: "Uh, those are XXs and they're not polarized."

Most employees are just there to make a buck at a job they think is easy. It's mostly self taught product knowledge. I'll tell you, I had a harder time getting a job in a record store than I had at SGH with what you need to know in advance.

people at sunglass hut are typically not that knowledgeable but ive helped several before by 'educating' them specially this one (edit)cuter girl who i talked to for an hour :D

Today I was in the Sunglas hut in Den Haag, The Netherlands, I was suprised about the prices of the Oakley's they got, they were almost all overpriced.

Prices just went up on some models. We de retags last week.

Justin, you better watch you don't try and educate the wrong employee or they're willing to slap you around a bit and never give you the same service again after that. I can't stand the teenie boppers that come in my store claiming they know so much, as if all SGH employees are know-nothing drones.

Justin, Phil’s correct you better be careful about that, not all SGH employees are worthless (there are a few good ones still out there that Luxotica has not ran off). I like the adults and teens that come in and argue with you about there foakleys not being fake! =)

And yea, it just depends on what SGH you go to, some of the will break the rules for you. Never hurts to ask.
