i have a ? regarding the size difference of the original romeo and the juliet, the juliet fits my head very well but i have never tried on the romeo and from the pictures it looks alot bigger. does anyone have a side by side pic of a romeo and juliet and maybe a pic of themself with each pair on.
thanks in advance

ive never had a pair of romeos but ive tried them on and they fit me fine. the lenses have alot of coverage though, if you want to look like the terminator.

the romeos suffer lens cracking due to the stress from the frame. if you look closely, the "x" bridge on the romeo is connected to the two orbitals. over time, with putting on and taking off the glasses, the frame starts to "move", causing the lens to slowly develop cracks. i don't know if i explained it well enough, but others might want to join in. if you're thinking which model to get, definetly get the juliet over the romeo, unless you're thinking about romeo 2, which doesn't have the problem.

I've found that the Juliets, Pennys, and R2s fit me well, but the XXs and Romeos are too big. It all depends on your face and how comfortable you are with larger styles. I'm not a fan of 'big' glasses on me.

IMO the XXs and Romeos are comparable in size, so just try on the XXs at a store and if they fit, pick up some Romeos off ebay.

I own a Romeo 1, and I've got three Juliets. The fit of both models is in my opinion almost the same. The Romeo one looks to big one my head, what I don't like.

From my personal usage, i found the Romeo to be the widest, followed by the XX then the Juliet.

the Romeo also has a slightly different frame curvature as that of the XX and Juliet (if this makes sense). the XX and Juliet is more wrap around than the Romeo (this could be due to Romeo being the wider frame and as such the front of the frame would seem to be 'flater'). the Lenses area also significantly larger on the Romeo followed by XX then Juliet. Hope this helps.

I have taken some pics of comparision and would upload then soon.

Here are the hastily taken photos, i hope it helps. pardon my poor camera skills.

this photo is the Comparison of some of the x metal frames. With my own Ti02 Romeo at one end, followed by Tio2 XX, Ti02 Juliet and lastly a Copper Penny.

Pic 2 and 3 shows the Direct comparision between the Romeo and the Juliet.

Pic 4 shows the frames in a collapsed state with the Romeo being the outer 1.

Pic 5 shows the frames in a open state with the Romeo being the outer 1 and shown enveloping the smaller juliet.

Paul: glad to be able to help...

And Guys thanks for the compliment.....i personally found the Romeo Ti02 to be not as impressive as its XX and Juliet counterparts....found the contrast to not be as great on the Romeos.... might be due to the condition of my Romeos when i decided to play around with it...might switch the lenses to that of a Gold Iridium later on to see how its looks though...not exactly very satified with this current mix and match...

And Yeah Nutcase it would not be cheap but there are some pretty gd deals on ebay if you are patient ...but i must say the Romeo range is comparatively easier to complete since there are only 3 stock frame and lenses options as compared with its brother Juliet range....and i have sort of gotten quite bored with the original combination so i have decied to play around with the lenses and Frames...not much options really if you think about it....but i must say A X metal Romeo with fire looks quite stunning too....seen some dude on the street with this combo of his...and definitely the +red Romeo custom of a fellow member here....just had to say it.....as i have not stop dreaming about it since the day i stumbled onto that thread.....
