To point out, one reason the for the outrageous price for the $800+ Ruby J was due to the fact that it had a aub 5,000 Serial Number. The one listed above didn't (though still a very low SN).

true but could you justify that price difference just because of the serial number? maybe if it was serial number 1....i guess each person values things differently.

No, definitely not solely on the SN. There are numerous reasons, some of which you mentioned already (ie. no box, papers).

I'm not an expert on X Metal but pictures can really help.

Sometimes, if they are fake, they are so bad it can be seen at a glance. Other times they can be fairly good and need decent pictures to tell.

Serial numbers help, if it has one, to verify if it matches what it should be. Not all Juliet's have serials though depending on the generation.

Also what do you mean by "Juliet Xmen"? Do you meant he early Gen 1 release with Ruby lenses?
