It scares people when you use terms like Ass manager & iron fist in the same sentence

Sunglass Icon (NO1) @ Downtown Disney in Orlando (well, Lake Buena Vista, technically).

I'm the volume king here (which essentially makes me the volume king for the company) but I carefully avoid being promoted by not selling care kits.

Worked great so far.

Ahhh yes, the dreaded CKR (care kit ratio) and UPT (units per transaction). I certainly dont miss that aspect of the job. But I may be getting back into the business again. The local O-store manager offered me a part time position. Always a great feeling to have an unsolicited job offer. I need to work out the details, because I can only work approximately 4-6 hours a week. My main job has me busy working about 55 hours right now. I need to have time to sleep and surf O-review.

The amount of care kits you sell compared to the amount of glasses sold.

It's the pouch/case we always try to sell you with a lens cloth, cleaning spray, and screwdriver.

I was the footwear/ apparel rep for LA and ARK and then (1999-2002), we had an employee number that we could call and order ANYTHING OAKLEY for a very low price and we could get some things before release. I got a pair of fire juliets about 4 months before release for $72.00. Oakley then took a specified amount out of 1 paycheck per month to pay on the account, like a credit card with no limit. We also got sample packs in before every season which included 1 of everything in evey color. All sample apparel came in size large and we only got 1 of each shoe, not a pair.

I've left my job at freespirit now, but when i worked there, O used to do compatitons twice a year. It used to be whoever sold the most in an 8week period got all their staff to go snowboarding for free (which is pretty cool considering there was about 30 of us) or all got a pair of thumps (and there were second and third prizes too) and we used to win hands down all the time cos we took like £20k more than the freespirit that came second, but then all the other freespirits complained so now they do it on a % increase on last year which we had no chance of winning....
