Since the Thump is coming, might as well talk about the type of music you like to listen to.

Well, If I get the Thump, I'd fill it up with some good ol' metal music. Pantera, Megadeth and stuff like that.

I was in a certain OPD on Oxford Street today and the guy I was talking to in there was convinced that the only way to get tunes onto the thump was bluetooth or wifi, which was why it was going to be so expensive. Didn't have the heart to tell him... Roger, If you are demo'ing in london I guess the stores will be shut when you're in there? Or should I camp out near my OPD? ;-)

--Also I feel I should add that that is a damn good rockin' playlist! I've just been listening to a bit of the 'D myself! You should also try and get the pixies, monkey gone to heaven. Cracking tune!

Yes it would be pretty cool, but the added weight (aerial, chip etc.) would probably put them off.

I don't have as extensive a playlist as Scoob. I can't see putting low-key music on a Thump - it demands things like AC/DC, not Flaming Lips or Ella.
Right now, off the top of my head, I'd put on:

Jay-Z Black and/or Grey album
LL Cool J (his old school stuff)
Fabolous - Breathe
Mash-ups galore

Scoob - what bitrate (I think that's what it's called) are you putting your files at?

If I bought one (I don't plan on it) and since it's limited in space (my Archos has 20gbs of spave) I would only throw my fav artists on there.

Crooked Fingers
Archers of Loaf
Rocket from the Crypt
Frank Black

Even The Faming Lips

I know, all indie stuff and music not many would expect on a Thump. But why fill it up with music I wouldn't listen too. I would want to be hearing what I am really down with.

Good to see you're all hearty rock fans. You're all allowed to stay now :P

I'd say Fear Factory('93,'95,'04 era), KMFDM('95-'03), Amorphis, NIN('89), Gravity Kills, :wumpscut:, Apocalyptica, Slipknot(1st and 3rd album), and whatever music I download..I mean buy and then get tired of quickly.
