I was wondering if all Straight Jackets have the Oakley logo on the nosebridge ?

I think most do but was wondering if it was the case with them all.

Not all of have Oakley on the nose bridge. The polished aluminium OPD does not, as well as the SI version. There may be more, but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Some finishes weren't able to have the logo affixed to. But later on, they found ways, so some of the newer ones had logos, and other's don't.

Either have to know someone or hope for ebay. Sometimes they are sold on residential military bases. My friend picked up SI XX's for like $70.

SI is not really military grade. The only difference is the color scheme of the glasses. The frame is matte black. The O icon is dark gray/charcoal color, and "OAKLEY" is not printed across the bridge. The lens is grey or grey polarized. Basically aside from color, they're the same as the retail version. I've bought a bunch SI glasses and currently have a pair of polarized SI Half Jackets.

The reason for this is because the military is fairly conservative about what can be worn with the uniform. Generally mirrored lenses are unauthorized, but you might get away with black iridium. Lenses like fire, ice, and emerald iridium are a big no no. You can get anything from an ass-chewing to a charge sheet for that.

Even if you know someone, you might not always be able to get a pair of SI glasses in the style you want. Not ever PX/BX carries every style.

A pair of SI Minutes just sold on eBay for $72...

There is a Ballistic M Frame, which is military grade. There's added support on the frame for extra durability.

Thanks for the answers guys, I have a couple of SJ on my list, and will try to buy them without the logo on the nosebridge if I can.

Just looks better without I think.

I went to the O Store in Hollywood, I think it's an O store and not a Vault, and they told me they don't carry the SI stuff and that I cannot get it there. They told me to contact Oakley which led me to Oakley Gov Sales where I got my SI Half Jackets.
