In case you haven't visited the Collections of wishlist sections recently, I've added a 'need level' on the wishlist of High/Medium/Low/Minimal, and a quality level on the collections page of Mint with Box/Mint without Box/Excellent/Good/Fair/Poor/Unusable.

So go flesh it out.

Hmm, I'm having some serious problems with the collection section. I've just been to add my new Juliets to the list and (this also happens with editing) I get an ASP (500) error. It still seems to add to the list but just generates an error whilst submitting the form. Also I went in to edit what I wrote (this has happened before) and when I submitted the form I got both the error and *poof* the item has vanished from my list.

Help!

Can you post the error. There should be a reason about half way down the page along with an error line number. I've just added/changed and deleted a test item and it worked, so let me know.

Cool, should be fixed now. Problem had to do with the totaling of the Glasses and Watches. If you had no glasses, or no watches, it died since 'null' isn't a number. If it were smart it would just make it zero, but I guess that would make too much sense.

Dann,
Excellent addition to the collections page with the quality level icons,I was going to suggest something like this to you as well!
I nearly feel embarrassed about how many Mint in box pairs I have........

Okay, thanks for fixing that, but I still cannot edit; there's no "finish edit" button so I press enter on one of the edit boxes, the form submits and it's gone from my collection. :(

this may sound like a dumb question but if we have worn them are they still counted as mint in box?

Yeah that should be fine as long as they're spotless.

Ed: no finish button? It should be the same form as if you are adding on, just the button says 'change' instead of 'add'.

Dann, I don't see 'unusable' in the dropdown menu. Am I missing something? Unfortunately there are a couple items in my collection that need to be classified that way.

Stupid me. I copied the code from the wishlist, so all the variables were still named 'need' rather than 'quality'. Fixed now.

Ah, got it now Dann. I hadn't realised clicking the link took you to the edit page (assumed it linked to the Glasses section) and was using the trashcan icon (duuuh...) as it seemed to take you to the edit page (obviously submitting the form deletes the item). Would it be possible to make a seperate delete page with just a delete confirmation to eliminate confusion between that and the edit page?

Yeah, I suppose that would make more sense.
