It has been a while since my last post. I have been overseas. Its hard to up load photos and post over there. Since then I have almost doubled my previous number of sunglasses. So I am just going to post this most recent pic of my display instead of posting all the pics of the sunglasses.

The reason i want the triple wide is to put my plama tv inside it until i have enough sunglasses to fill it. I have two oakley tables in my living room. One is my desk and the other in the tv stand. I got them from a lady in SC. I guess they were used to lay out the jeans, boardshorts, and whatnot.

Very nice. Makes me wish we had not passed up the opportunity to get a set for ourselves. =(
But very creative use for those tables!

I was bored last night and was thinking about what I could do with my cube. It has my SI items in it, and I wanted to give it a little more interesting look - more SI if you will. This might not be everyone's 'cup of Joe' but this is what the outcome was:

Anybody who knows military knows that red light is a low-signature light, which ensures stealth in the darkness. So I think it flows pretty good with the overall theme...not sure if I will keep it like that yet, but the LEDs I used are soo small and are not visible when turned off.

I'm getting some Laser SI M-Frames shortly and they will also become part of the cube.

I have some more items coming today and tomorrow, as well as a visit to the Vault tonight. I will post updated Collection pix after everything is set up...Cheers, Ollie

Olie, it looks nice, and i agre you should get a bigger led. maybe some rgb , to get different light effects.

Wow Ollie, that's just awesome! I love the way it looks. Very millitary-esque. Is it as dark as the photos make it? If so, what about a bit lighter shade of red so it's a little easier to see the actual items? Still, I think it's a very creative approach to the display. Hats off to you!

Yukio - Thanks. I will try to take some better pix. I only took this with my point'n'shoot today at 530am. In person you can see the items a lot better. I was debating to cover one or 2 of the LEDs up to make it a littler softer, but I am still not sure what I will do. I guess I just like the military feel to it...We shall see what else will happen here...got some more gear today, more to come tomorrow...and I have to reorganize the double wide a little...Thanks for the feedback...Ollie
