Oakley has recalled all Thumps from SGHs in Michigan due to slow sales. And with that annoucement, SGHs in Michigan will not be getting the 2.0 and the Razrwire.. until further notice

All I got to say is, thanks Oakley for releasing the original Thump for a ridiculous beginning retail price and just blame stores for slow sales. After the price decrease, my store started to sell them.

Wow, once the price dropped on the Thump ours started to move like hotcakes. Even after we sold what we had they went and sent us more.

is sold both the 128 and 256 mb out , and 512 mb goes just fine overhere !!

Maybe they want to rid the sgh market of the thump1s, to make way for the thump2s?

I got a call from my rep earlier this week and he told me that my SGH would be one of the few stores in my region receiving Thump 2. I ran a sku search last night and right now SGH will be carrying the Black 512.

We also are SKU'd to have 4 of the new Fives 3.0. Black, Brown Smoke, Tort Polar and Crystal Black Polar.

From what I heard is that selected few SGH will carry Electronics, while rest will not. I heard it was a SGH thing complaning of the slow sales..

They also will be carrying the Razrwire because its on their website

I have SKUs for all 3 combos, who knows when we'll get them or how they'll sell. I say, better left in Cingular 2 doors down from mine for now. But then I'm not sure they do well with it. I'll kno when I meet up with my rep in a week or so.

I just got a voicemail from my local OPD confirming they will have the T2 in plenty of time for Xmas and that the 1GB version will sell for £350.00

I have my order placed for T2 to arrive by the end of the month. I'm holding off on getting all the RW's as I haven't moved one yet.

Will, are you gonna be doing, just the BT units?

The manager of SGH here is going to her Product meeting and will be getting T2 shortly. No word on other styles she will be getting, but hopefully Five 3.0 too.

Yeah, my manager is hitting that meeting up too in our region. It's doesn't mean every manager who attends will be receiving it in their store though. It's just a managers meeting. It's still going to be a limited release to SGH. Larger stores and the ones who moved the first Thump well. SGH is only SKUd to have the Black 512 for now. Others may come eventually seeing how this one sells.

As far as Fives 3.0 goes, SGH has SKUs for Black, Brown Smoke, Tort Polar, Cry Black Polar. Expect them in November/early Dec most likely.
